Victoria's POV
I woke to the sound of birds chirping and the sun shining right in my eyes.
I woke up, but didnt open my eyes or even move. I remembered that I was in Denis' bed right now and if I tried to get up, surly he would wake,
I slowly opened my eyes and saw that my arm was thrown across his stomach with my head resting on his chest.
I started to panic for a moment and tried to get up quickly, too quickly.
"What are you doing?" Denis asked groggily.
I went rigid all over.
"I was- I was just going- I didnt mean- uh" I didnt have any words to back me up. I sat all the way up, crisscrossing.
"how did you get in my bed?" he asked shockingly.
"Do you not remember? You were the one to give out the invetation of sleeping on other peoples beds" I threw my hands up to show my innocents.
"Uh, when was this?" he scratched his head looking up, thinking.
I realized he didn't remember anything because he was drunk.
"Oh yeah, I forgot. You were drunk" I told myself out loud.
"What! Your LYING! Stop lying to me Victoria!" he sounded angry.
I flinched, then straightened up, "Im not lying to you DENIS, last night you had one to many drinks and well...." I let the sentence trail off.
"I have never been drunk in my LIFE, let alone a single drink" he panicked.
""yeah you were acting... Different" I hesitated, trying to find the right word.
"How different? What did I do?" he asked a little shaken.
"well, what do you remember?" I started off.
"uh, I remember Angela kiss me, then you didnt believe me when I said it wasn't like that, then I think I had one drink. But that was it. I dont even know how I got here now that I think about it" he looked around.
"hmmmmm. Well first, you told Angela off. Second, I punched her AFTER she slapped you-"
"wait, what? you... Punched her? She SLAPPED me!" i could tell this news was too much to handle.
"Why would she do that to me? Why would YOU do something like that for me?" he asked softly.
"Well, she hit you just because you said im better then her. You looked so helpless and I just... snapped." I said honestly.
"Thank you" he said with a smile.
We looked at each other for a while when I finished the story, "yeah your pretty violent. Angela kissed you again and you just shoved her into a table, causing it to topple over, along with her." I smirked at that memory.
"She kissed me TWICE? Man she does not take a hint" he shook his head, "Plus, I knew pushing would be a bad idea. I was going to do it the first time, but I knew if I did, THAT would happen" we laughed.
"yeah, then you broke a bottle over a guys head" I added.
"WHY!?" he almost yelled.
"Well, he kept touching me and being... Weird. I think he was going to kidnap me or something" I shivered at the memory.
"Are you okay?" he asked softly.
"Yeah, at least you came to my rescue, bye almost killing a guy" I smiled.
"I would break a bottle over anyone's head if it meant keeping you safe" He added sweetly.
I blushed profusely. His smile made me feel warm inside.
"What else did I do?" he asked, snapping me out of it.
"Well, then we got back and you asked me to stay at your dorm." I left out the kiss. He told me that he knew I liked him because I kissed him back, so I thought it would be best for me to just leave it out.
"Yeah and thats when you asked me to sleeep next to you, nothing more!" I made sure to clarify that important info.
"Sorry about that" he said sheepishly, " About what?"
"Everything that happened last night, I think it was all my fault." he shook his head.
"No it wasn't! I actually had a really great time" I gave him a warm smile.
We stared at each other for what felt like an eternity when I broke the silence, "I should go" I said, getting up.
"oh, do you have plans for today?" he asked, getting up as well.
I turned to look at him, "Actually, I dont" I confessed.
"I have an idea of what we could do, if you wanna come" he offered with a smile.
"What?" I was curious already.
"Do you know how to cook?" he asked, "yes?" I said slowly.
"Great, cuz I need your help with something"
