OH MY LORDY I JUST REALIZED HOW FREAKING LONG IT HAD BEEN SINCE I LAST UPDATED THIS. I AM SO SORRY. SERIOUSLY. I'M REALLY SORRY.
HERE'S A CHAPTER. IT'S SHORT BUT HERE. YOU ALL HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO HATE ME FOR TAKING LIKE A MILLION YEARS TO UPDATE. ENJOY.
Killian's P.O.V:
"How'd it go, love?"
After dropping her son off at his bus stop, Emma approaches me at the docks, as agreed. Leia and I got to have a little daddy-daughter time as we waited for Emma, exploring this town. I must admit, though it's been formed by a curse, it is quite charming. And the sight of the sea... it doesn't get much more beautiful than this.
Leia babbles in my lap, clapping her hands together in excitement each time she sees a seagull.
"Dada!!" she squeals, pointing at a nearby bird. I chuckle lovingly, laying a kiss on her little head.
"That's right, princess, it's a bird!" I say playfully, bouncing her on my knee. She giggles and grabs at my fingers.
Emma sits down beside me and gently runs her fingers through Leia's thin hair with a peaceful expression upon her face.
"It went great," Emma smiles. "He... he seems okay with me. He wants me around. I thought he'd hate me for putting him in the system, for having a kid, but he's thrilled."
A smile grows on my face as I see the happiness emanating from Emma's eyes. I could tell she felt guilty earlier, of the life her son has had, but she seems to have resolved it.
"I'm glad, love. That's fantastic," I smile, leaning over to leave a kiss in her hair. She rests her head on my shoulder and lets out a heavy breath. "I have... a bit of a surprise for you, Swan," I say with a sly look.
"Jones," Emma corrects with a smile. "Do you now?"
"Mhmm," I hum, rising from my seat on the bench. "Come on, then," I say over my shoulder, carrying Leia on my hip as I walk away. Emma laugh lightly and follows me.
"Where are we going?" she asks, biting her lip.
"It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you, now would it?" I reply playfully. Emma groans and trudges on behind me. "Mummy's being impatient, isn't she, princess," I say to Leia, who babbles in agreement, grabbing my nose.
"Daaada!" she giggles.
"Right. Now, close your eyes, Swan."
Emma eyes me suspiciously.
"Why...?" she asks, hands on her hips.
I roll my eyes affectionately.
"Darling, I love you with all my heart, but stop being a stubborn ass, and close your eyes," I say, kissing her forehead as I set Leia down in her carriage.
"Fine," Emma sighs, shaking her head with a little laugh.
After making sure Leia is alright and close to Emma, I run around the corner and get into a car, then drive it over to Emma who still has her eyes closed. I hop out, then, for good measure, put my hands over Emma's eyes from behind.
"Alright, love, step forward a bit," I urge her. "Just a bit more... here. Alright, you can open your eyes now," I smile, removing my hands.
Emma gasps in delight as her eyes run over the vehicle in disbelief. I had her yellow bug sent over from New York.
"Killian! Oh my gosh!" Emma exclaims, running her hands along the metal. "You brought my bug?!"
I nod, smiling.
"You're- you're amazing, thank you!" she says in delight, nearly knocking me over with kisses.
"You are very welcome, my love," I grin, bringing her lovingly into my arms. That smile. That laugh of delight. That look in her eyes. I could never get enough of this woman.
"Maaama!" Leia babbles from her stroller.
"I suppose somebody is jealous of all the attention Daddy is getting, hm?" I say, picking Leia up and handing her to Emma. Leia's eyes slight up in delight as she nestles into her mother's arms.
"I'd say you're a mommy's girl, but seeing how you spent the morning with daddy, I'm not so sure," Emma murmurs in a playful voice, making expressive faces for Leia.
I smile fondly, wrapping my arm around Emma to hold the both of them as we watch our daughter.
"My girls," I mumble, laying a kiss in Emma's hair.
Emma rests her head back against my chest and tilts her head up to meet my eyes with a smile.
"I love you, so much," I whisper, my gaze into her eyes never flattering.
Emma's eyes soften. She stretches up to kiss me softly, then smiles widely.
"I love you, too."

Emma's P.O.V
"Hi Emma!"
I jump in surprise at the voice behind me.
"Jeeze, kid! Shouldn't you be home, like your mother probably wants you to be?!" I ask as my heart rate goes back to its normal pace.
This kid. I leave mine and Killian's room at Granny's for ten minutes just to get some baby food for Leia, and he's already found me. How the he'll does he do that?
"Nah, she thinks I'm at the arcade," Henry answers dismissively.
"Storybrooke has an arcade. Seriously?" I ask.
Henry shrugs.
"Your mom bought that?" I ask, surprised. Regina's clearly smarter than that.
"She wants to believe me, so she does," Henry answers, without a care in the world. "And besides, I needed to talk to you. Operation Cobra needs to move quicker. We need to start waking people up."
"Oh- kid, this again? I don't get it, why do you think it's so important for all this to be true?"
Henry pauses.
"It... it just is. This can't be all there is," he says matter of factly.
"Right. So in this fairytale world of yours, who am I supposed to be?" I ask, hoping to help him see just how ridiculous he sounds.
"You're the Savior," Henry grins.
"I see, I'm the Savior, alright kid," I laugh lightly.
"You are! And your parents are Snow White and Prince Charming!"
"Okay, tell me, Henry, if they are my parents and they're supposedly here... why have I never met them? Why don't I live with them?"
Henry sighs. Right. Cause I'm the one being difficult.
"It's the curse. They don't remember. They sent you through the magical wardrobe right before the curse hit," Henry explains, practically begging me to understand. My expression softens. I kneel down to his level and smile.
"Okay, Henry. Say there is a curse. How am I supposed to break it, hm?"
Henry jumps excitedly.
"We have to remind people who they are! I just have to finish my list. I've been working on figuring out who everybody is. I'll show you tomorrow!" he grins.
"Okay, kid," I laugh fondly. "See you tomorrow."
"Bye Emma!"
