At Last

Sure things got heated for quite moments. With the helped of others, they managed to keep Weiss in pieces before she 'flew' to Atlas. To her so-called father.

Ruby once again resting. Luckily she survived from the stabbed and been resting on her own bed. Her eyes flickered for a few moments before her eyes fully adjusted to the lighting.

“Umm.. Ruby?”

God, beautiful voice I craved to hear. Ruby smiled at her thoughts. She glad that she took the opportunity to 'wake up' on that time. As she wished she was there with her mom, she knew that she is needed more in this world.

“Weiss. Good morning.” Ruby husky voices whispered on Weiss's ear. Weiss rubbed her eyes, and began snuggling more into Ruby.

“I miss you, you dunce.” Weiss voices cracked, her arms wrapped tightly on Ruby, leaning her face deeper on Ruby's neck.

“I miss you too.” Ruby kiss on top of Weiss's head, took a sniff of her scent. Ruby felt wetness on her neck, realizing that Weiss is sobbing.

“Hey, hey. Don't worry. I wont leave you anymore.” Ruby tried to calm her down, rubbing her girlfriend arms. Ruby tightened her embraced. “I swear to cookie jar that I won't leave you again.”

That statement gaining a chuckle from Weiss. “You and your cookies.” She choked, trying to calm herself down. Ruby grinning, pulls Weiss's face to her.

“Promise me?” Weiss breathe out, her icey blue orbs gazing on silver orbs. Ruby eyes dropped, then her hands slowly wiped on Weiss's cheeks. Slowly she pulled Weiss's face, and she leaned in too. With a kiss, she sealed her promise.

*Ka-chick*

The two lovebirds jumped in instant, resulting a laughed escaped from Yang.

“Look who's lovey dovey in the early morning.” Yang smirked, wiggling her scroll on her hand.

“Give me that damn scroll!” Weiss enraged, pushing Ruby asided and jumped on Yang.

“Oh feisty~” Yang said, trying to defence her scroll from Weiss's reached.

“I told you don't disturb them.” Blake rolled her eyes, seeing the two of her teammates currently 'clinging' to each other. Ruby laughed heartly for those two.

“Hey Ruby.” Yang breathe out, currently pinning down Weiss on the floor. She turned her head to her little sister, smiled plastered on her face.

“I miss those laughed.” Yang let go of Weiss, sitting down beside her. She ruffled her hair, sighing deeply. “So long we wanted to hear those.”

Blake sat at edge of her bed, smiling up to Ruby. Weiss, who still on the floor, gazed up to her girlfriend, who peeking down at her teammates.

With Yang opened her arms wide, Ruby began sobbing as she jumped down to her sister. For so long she miss comfort from her sister arms. For so long she being selfish to be in her own world, forgetting those who miss her the most.

“I miss you.” Ruby cried out, wrapped herself onto Yang, as Yang tried to calm her sister down. Soon, Blake and Weiss join the sisters.

Embracing each other with intensity of love.

“What happened to Violet?” Ruby began to asked, shifting against her girlfriend's lap. Her gazed moves to Weiss, to Blake and lastly Yang.

“I'm sorry Ruby but,” Yang clenched her fist, tried to supress the guilt building inside her. “I-I can't control myself on that time.”

Ruby gasped, her eyes widen in shocked. She knew what her big sis meant by that. Although Violet had cause her harms, but still, she just blinded by revenge. She didn't mean for those things to happened.

“How about your father?” Ruby turned to Weiss, tried to change the topic, but knew better it still heated question. Weiss bit her lips, and soon sighing, “I don't know. I left the matter to Profesor Ozpin. He probably knows better than I do.”

Who didn't even get on nerves when their own father tried to take their happiness away? That was unforgiveable. Ruby nodded by the statement, knowing that if Weiss take care of the matter, it probably wont do any good.

“I wish that I was able to wake up sooner before all of this happened.” Ruby confessed, grabbing Weiss's hand and hold it. “I shouldn't have been passed out when you guys encounter them! How terrible I was as your leader,” Ruby's voice began to cracked, “As your leader, to bring her teammates in disaster. This isn't supposed to be happened. I should've wake up and fight!” Weiss panicked when Ruby start to blame herself, holding her tights to calm her down.

“Weiss,” Ruby gave her a sad smile, “You're right. I'm not fit enough to be the leader.”

Weiss's eyes widen, her thoughts flew back to those moments she blamed Ruby for being the leader. What that dolt didn't know, she slowly accepted her, plus she trusts her to guide team RWBY. Weiss closed her eyes, gritting her teeth, and hold Ruby's shoulder hard that she pushed her down. Weiss leaning down to her leader, who claimed to be useless for the team. Her eyes glazed in fury, while Ruby's eyes brimmed with tears.

“Ruby, don't you fucking said that!” Weiss breathes out, “All of us saves because of you.” Weiss lowered down her voices, soon the sadness empowered her feeling. “Thanks to you we all saves.”

“Although that time you were...” Weiss's word trailed to unfinished statement, slowly let go her gripped on Ruby. She sighed, as she moved herself to the side. Ruby confused with what Weiss meant by that.

Yang saw the tension and sighed, “You scared the shit out of us.” Her gazed falls to her sister, who seemed frowned in her thoughts. “You were....” Yang trailed off, scratching her head, “like a grimm. Emotionless. What happened inside you was unpredictable. And what surprise us...” Yang blinked a few times, exhaled slowly before she fixed her gazed on her sister. “Your eyes shines bright, and it was the most scariest glared I've ever seen. I couldn't bring myself to look up to your eyes. And that powers inside you, made you killed her. You've killed Cinder Fall.”

Ruby let out a small gasp, clutching her hand to her hair. Slowly she tried to absorb everything that her teammates had told her. How can someone like her, can even killed others? Those powers. Those powers bring the madness inside her. She couldn't remembered when those things happened. All she knew was her head spun and her ears ringing loudly that makes her collapsed immediately.

“I'd killed her. Oh my god I killed her Yang!” Ruby began to panicked, never in her life imagined that she 'would' killed a person. She never ever want her weapon to be the death of others. But somehow, the monster inside her, awaken. Makes her a murderer.

Yang pushed herself and bring Ruby close to her. Giving some comforts in her grip,“Ruby, You only acted on impulse. Don't think like that! She had put your life on risk, she...” Yang blinked a few times, holding herself from tearing ups as her little sister began sobbing in her arms. “She deserved it.”

Then there's a knock on the door makes the whole team RWBY jumped in shocked.

Blake volunteer to opened to door, revealing their headmaster.

Profesor Ozpin glances to Ruby, “Gladly you're awake now, Miss Rose. Excuse for interruption, but I wanted to talk to Miss Rose and Miss Schnee, in my office.”

Professor Ozpin turned around, but stop after a few steps, and turned his head back to the whole team.

“Whenever you're free, but come see me as soon as possible.”
