Talking About Things

Part 17 - talking about things-
You jump up out of bed and get your shoes on. "Where's Teresa I need to talk to her now" you start shouting still breathing as if you'd been running. Newt points over to the maze where she's carving her name on the wall. You start running across to her, "hey Teresa!" You shout a little to get her attention. She turns and wonders why you're in. Such a rush. "What's wrong" she hesitates. "That sirum" you start, "it's brought some of my memories back" you half smile half frown. "Wait, what do you remember" she panics as if she didn't want you to know certain things. "Well I remember, me, you, and Newt were all best friends in the lab" you start and then tears start to form. "And then he got sent here and forgot" you stop for a second. Teresa goes to talk but you keep going. "And Thomas, me and him, we loved eachother." You continue. Teresa smiles. "And you're the one who told me he liked me and we used to have them girl talks about it" you smile. Teresa smiles even more now. "I'm so happy you remember" she laughs and gives you the biggest hug. She pushes you away, "so, you and Thomas?" She asks thinking you still like him. You shake your head. "Talk to him" she persuades. But you stand thinking about newt, but then realise, if you were with Thomas then surely you would still have feelings for him now.
Once you had walked back to the boys, you see Newt smiling and then you look at Thomas, you chose to go to Thomas. He can see the look on your face that you wanted to talk. "The sirum brought my memories back Thomas" you smile a little. Thomas' jaw drops. "Me and you were in love" you then say to him. He looks at you and you look at him. "We could try?" He asks. Thomas thought maybe a kiss would bring back the feelings. You look thinking differently. But then Newt starts walking around the corner to come talk to you, but all he sees is Thomas holding your cheek and kissing you. He keeps looking, and then slowly steps back and out of sight.  Once you pull away Thomas gives you a hug thinking that you would be back together. And you sit awkwardly. Teresa sees newt working whilst sniffing.."newt are you okay!" She puts a hand on his shoulder, "just fine yea" he lies. Then you and Thomas walk round the corner smiling. Newt turns to you and frowns. "Newt?" You ask. But he just gets his things and walks off. "What's up with him?" You ask Teresa, "I'll go talk to him."
