Part 44 -leaving- the Finale
Minho moves forward with his spear ready. "We can't leave" Gally tells everyone. Thomas sees the gun in his hand. He starts shaking. "We did, Gally, we're out, we're free" Thomas explains calmly. "Free?" Gally breathes heavily. "You think we're free out there?" He asks. "No, there's no escape from this place" he finishes. He slowly lifts the gun he's holding and points it at Thomas. "Gally listen to me" Thomas starts "you're not thinking straight, you're not" he stops. Minho grips his spear ready to act. "We can help you, just put down the gun" Thomas urges. "I belong to the maze" he tells Thomas. "Just put down the gun" Thomas repeats. "We all do" Gally raises his voice. He moves his hand and puts his finger on the trigger of the gun. "No no no" Thomas , you and chuck shout. Newt jumps in front of to make sure you're safe. Thomas goes in front of chuck. As newt says the last 'no' Gally pulls the trigger and Minho throws his spear at gallys chest and a glass smashes in the background. You take a breath. "Gally!" You shout not wanting him to die. You run over. "No Gally come on we could save you" but he falls to the ground making a wheezing sound. You turn around and go to newt. "Thomas" a quiet chuck looks fowards. He starts falling as Thomas tries to help him. He'd been shot. Thomas is still holding him and you kneel next to him. "Shit shit" Thomas quietly says whilst looking at chuck. "Chuck you're gonna be alright just hang on" Thomas tells him. chuck reaches into his pocket and has the wooden carving he made and he tries to give it over. "No I told you, you're gonna give it to them yourself" Thomas tells him. "Take it" chuck says whilst putting it in Thomas hand. He takes it. "Thank you" chuck says. "Thank you"he says again whilst staring up and taking his last breath. "Chuck? Chuck hey cmon, no wake up" Thomas starts tearing up, he lets out a loud cry and Teresa has tears streaming down her face too. You just sit there in silence knowing youve lost two people you care about."damnit" Thomas shouts out. Newt puts his hand over his mouth trying not to cry anymore than he already is. "No we made it come on!" Thomas cries out. "I'm sorry" his voice breaks up. "Ahhh Damnit!" He shouts at the top of his lungs. And as he does the main doors start to open. Newt helps you up and puts his arm around your waist and holds you close. You see a few men running towards you wearing masks. You see the light flash before your eyes. "Thomas we have to go" Teresa calls to him. But he just wants to stay with chuck. "Get up chuck come on!" He screams out again. The men grab Teresa, then Winston and fry. One of them grabs you and newt but you break away. "No what about Gally!" You cry out to one of them. You look back and see him on the floor. But a man comes and grabs you to go outside. Another one goes to Thomas and tries to get him up but Thomas crawls back to chuck. "No Chuck!" He shouts again clenching the wood in his hand. Two men come over and pick Thomas up and drag him outside. They put you all in two different helecopters, you, Teresa, newt and Thomas in one. It takes off high into the sky. You look out the window and see a scorch around you. Newt looks at all his friends and realises how much they'd all lost. As you all fly higher Thomas looks out the window, he sees a maze, the one you were all in. He looks around at you and Teresa and newt. That was it, it was all over, too many people had been lost along the way. But, it was all over...
