The Mistake

Part 22 - the mistake-
You go to Newt as you both walk out, you notice Thomas rushing off away from both of you. "Where's that shank going then?" You ask newt. "I thought you two were.." he looks back and fourth at you both. "Us, no no no, were not" you rush to say. "But I saw you two kiss" he hesitates. "Yea that was him" you start to tear up a little. "You didn't want him to kiss you?!" Newt yells. "No not at all, all I told him was that we liked eachother when we worked together" you explain. "I'm going to talk to that shank right now!!" He starts storming off. "No Newt leave it" you tell him. He turns and frowns. You get back to work for the rest of the day, and every now and then Gally would come to check on you. He was a changed person after he found out youre his sister. Thomas walks over cautiously. "He finally roles in" Newt whispers. "I've just had a lot on my mind lately" he infers. He goes round to the second row of plants, and as he does that he starts to see everyone crowding around the maze. You turn and look too, "Newt, what's going on" you panic, "Minho, and Alby, they should be back by now" he panics too. You all hurry over and shove to the front whilst standing s the entrance staring. You have Chuck next to you and he's worried too. "What if they don't make it!?" He looks at newt. "They'll make it" Newt tells him securely. Then, you hear a loud noise, the doors are starting to close. "They're not gonna make it" you look towards newt. But he's so sure that they'll make it. "Look! There!" Just shouts. "Albys hurt!" Newt yells. "Leave him Minho you can't make it!" Everyone yells, but Minho won't leave him. Then Thomas rushes to the front, "they won't make it" Thomas shouts. He keeps looking continuously back and fourth from you, Newt to Minho and Alby. "We gotta help them!" Thomas shouts. "We can't " Newt looks at him. Then everyone watches Minho struggling and slow down. "Minho comple on you can do it!" Everyone starts yelling. The doors are so close to closing now. You look at Thomas and you know what he's thinking, "Thomas" you shake your head. He looks at you and smiles so then you think he's fine. But then Minho stops and drops Alby but he falls too. Thomas moves away from the crowd, he starts running to the doors., "No Thomas!" You yell and grab onto his hand, so does newt but he lets go. You don't. "NEWT!" you shout knowing you've just been dragged back into this horrendous maze. Thomas collapses on the floor and sits up to look around, you're standing looking at Minho and Alby. Minho looks up at you both with an angry look, "good job, you just killed yourselves."
