Teresa and Newt are alive, but only one of them seems to find their way to the others. Thomas is lost, and doesn't know who to listen to. (based on the movie TDC)
"TERESA!", Frypan yelled, "WHAT HAPPENED. I WAS JUST IN HERE." Teresa tried to hold back her tears, but she couldn't. She wanted to put on her brave face, but she couldn't. She wanted to tell them what was really wrong...but she couldn't.
---flashback---
Frypan had just left the room. As soon as he was gone, Thomas and Brenda walked in. "Listen you little slut, Thomas has something to say to you", Brenda said.
"Teresa, you aren't wanted here and you know that. Once you heal, everyone will hate you and forget about you AGAIN. And don't think that I still love you, or ever did. All you were was a distraction and you kept me away from Brenda. She helped me recognize who you truly were, and I'm embarrassed to even know you. Brenda makes me feel special, unlike you ever did. She is there for me no matter what, and would even sacrifice herself for me. So FOLLOW OUR INSTRUCTIONS VERY CAREFULLY." Thomas yelled.
Teresa tried to explain herself but Brenda immediately continued, "Once you are fully healed, you will run away from Paradise, never coming back. It will benefit everyone, except for you, so suck it up buttercup. You're just a hazard when you come near people, and we can't have that here. So Teresa, just like we said, as soon as you are able to walk, me and Thomas want you out. Just get out of our sight."
Thomas nodded, "Don't think that I'll ever forgive you. And if you tell anyone about this conversation, we will hurt you even more, and trust me, that's possible sweetheart." With that said, he hit her in the stomach one more time, and ran out with Brenda.
---end of flashback---
"Everything just hurts so bad," she hadn't completely lied. "Thomas and Brenda didn't do any thing did they?", Sonya asked. "NO no no, they didn't", Teresa replied too quickly. "Hey you know you can talk to us right, " questioned Minho. "Yea we love you sis", said Newt. "Yea i know, I love you guys too. I think I'm gonna get some more rest. Everything just hurts so bad. "
Teresa wanted to tell them everything, but she didn't want to risk their safety. She knew what BRENDA was capable of. How she could manipulate people.
Harriet stayed with Teresa that night. They talked for short periods of time, Teresa falling asleep and waking back up multiple times.
"Do you still love him...Thomas?", questioned Harriet. Teresa teared up, "always have, always will." Harriet sighed. All she could think of was that Thomas DID NOT deserve Teresa. After what he had done to her. But, it wasn't her battle to fight.
"Hey, when do you think I'll be able to walk again," asked Teresa. "A few days, why?", Harriet responded. "I'm just getting sick of this bed," Teresa laughed. Harriet smiled at how beautiful this girl was. Teresa deserved the world. She should be honored all over Paradise, but that wasn't the case. Harriet had tears in her eyes while thinking about it.
Teresa decided that she would leave the day she got cleared. She didn't want to get in Thomas and Brenda's way, it just wasn't worth it.
Before she fell asleep, Teresa made a little promise to herself, "No matter what, I will always protect you, care for you, be concerned for you, and...love you." Whether he knew it or not, he was EVERYTHING to her.
Chill out my dudes. This is a THOMESA fan fiction right???? Just adding a little drama. Don't hate on Thomas yet...he'll come around.
