Teresa and Thomas stopped once they reached a large cabin. It was beautiful inside and out. Teresa jumped up and down happily, as Thomas just stood their in shock. Its too good to be true, he thought. "Oh come on Tom, look a little excited," Teresa joked. Thomas laughed and hugged her tightly.
They had finished looking around the house. It had two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, dining room, office/library, and a "man cave." Thomas and Teresa couldn't ask for anything more, it was absolutely perfect. "Hey I'm gonna go ask Frypan about takeout, I kinda wanna eat here tonight." Teresa suggested. Thomas nodded and sat on the couch, "I miss you already," he shouted as she opened the door. "You better," she smirked.
Teresa had been gone for an hour, it was a long walk back to the kitchen. The doorbell rang, and Thomas hurried, thinking it was Teresa struggling with the food. To his dismay it was no other than the bitch of Paradise.
"Hey Tom," Brenda said as soon as he opened the door. She stepped inside, and closed the door. "Brenda, I'm with Teresa stay away. Don't try to hurt her again," Thomas backed away. "Thomas stop lying to yourself, I've always been the one for you. Stop living in the past." Brenda took his arm. "Please, just leave us alone." Thomas looked down at the floor.
"Let me show you what your missing out on," Brenda leaned in and kissed him. She pushed him on the couch, and pinned him down. They were making out, Thomas trying to escape her grasp, but Brenda was strong and he didn't want to hurt her. He figured if he went along with it, she would eventually stop, and then he could kick her out.
CRASH! Brenda kept kissing Thomas, as he tried to see what had happened. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Teresa. She had dropped the food, and was staring at the horrid sight. To her, it looked like Thomas wasn't trying to stop, and he wasn't according to his plan. It had almost worked too.
Once he realized it was her, Thomas pushed Brenda off of him. Teresa had tears in her eyes, "You lied to me," she said before running off. Brenda smiled and looked back at Thomas.
"What do you think about Trenda." asked Brenda. "WHAT!" Thomas asked. "You know, our ship name, what people call us." Brenda got off the couch and stared into his eyes. " What the shuck, stop ruining my life you piece of klunk." he didn't care about hurting her anymore. She deserved to hear the truth. Thomas moved her out of the way and ran after Teresa.
She was sitting by Newt and Frypan at a picnic table, by the kitchen. She had her head on Frypan's shoulder and Newt was rubbing her back, "He doesn't deserve you," said Newt. "Don't worry Teresa, we'll make sure he doesn't hurt you again," Frypan promised.
"Teresa!" Thomas yelled. She whipped her head around and stood up. She ran towards him, and slapped him in the face. "STOP ACTING LIKE YOU LOVE ME. IT HURTS MORE AND MORE EVERY TIME! I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING FOR YOU, BECAUSE YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING. BUT THE MOMENT IM NOT AROUND, YOU FALL BACK IN LOVE WITH BRENDA. ITS ALWAYS BEEN HER, THOMAS. I NEVER MEANT ANYTHING TO YOU DID I." She screamed. "and you call me the betrayer, " Teresa whispered that last part, while fighting back tears. She couldn't do it though. She immediately burst out crying, and looked back up at Thomas. She tried to say something but no words came. Newt and Frypan ran to her side, and comforted her even more. They looked at Thomas with disgust.
Thomas had to prove that she was his everything too. She had to fight for his trust, but he never gave anything to her, the first time he hurt her. Thomas would have to earn HER trust back.
