"Babe wake up." A raspy voice filled my ears. I always found myself falling asleep in Matt's arms. Something about them always lured me back to them. His strong, warm arms. The shield me from the bad in the world.

"Babeee." Matt was propped up on one arm. His shirt was off, as usual. "What." I groaned. "You sleep for a long time." He played with my hair, twirling it with his fingers.

"Matthew." His mother called from downstairs. "Shit." He pushed me off the bed. "What the hell?" I yelled. He covered my mouth with his hand. I bit it, wanting him to get has hand off my face. "What the fuck, you bit me!" He held his hand.

"Why did you push me?!" I frowned. "Quiet down, my mom doesn't know that you slept in my room. And if she sees me with my shirt off and you in my bed, she will get the wrong idea." He trailed off. I was about to argue with him, but I heard his door swing open.

"Matthew, put on a shirt and wake up Zoe." She said. "Alright mom." He said in a rushed voice. "I need to also talk to you for a moment." I could see his mom's feet walk to Matt. "Mom, please, let me change." He was trying to get her to leave. "Wait, so do you need more ointment you know?" She trailed off. What the hell? Small fits of laughter left my mouth.

"Zoe, I know your under there. " I soon saw her face from the other end. I got up, laughing. "I trust you two." She lifted an eyebrow at Matt. As for Matt, his face had stayed a bright pink for a good 5 minutes.

After his mom left, he turned to me. "My mom was joking about the whole ointment."He avoided eye contact. "Okay." I giggled.

It was 5 in the evening.  The day flew by. Summer had officially started. But Matt and I had nothing to do. That was until he got a phone call. It was from Cameron. He was having a huge party and he invited Matt and I.

Matt got ready so we could drive to my place. Matt wore a brotank, that nicely showed off his strong arms. He wore khakis that ended where his knees were. And of course, he put on his Nike socks and favorite Vans. And to top it all off with a snapback. He looked hot, god dammit. Calm Down Zoe.

We drove to my place. I was clueless of what to wear. Matt helped me out. In the end, I wore black, high waisted shorts and a maroon top. I put on a pair of black Vans.

Matt followed me to the bathroom. He sat on my counter. "Do you have to wear make up?" He asked. "Yes I do." I replied, putting on foundation. "But you look beautiful without it. " He smiled. "Stop it Matt. We both know I don't." I rolled my eyes. I finished with my mascara.

Matt got off the counter, wrapping his arms around my waist. Butterflies filled my stomach. "You're beautiful with or without make up. " He whispered. I looked down. "Babe, I promise you I'm not saying this to make you happy, I'm saying it because its true." He kissed my cheek.

I turned around in his arms. "I love you baby." He held my face in his hands. I still couldn't get used to him saying this. Someone actually loves me for who I am. They accepted me. Matt loves me.

"Shall we my lady." He let me lead the way to his car. We got in. Cameron's house was 30 minutes away. I was actually nervous. Big groups of people gave me anxiety. I hated it. I'd have panic attacks as well.

Matt pulled up to a big house with people everywhere. Damn, this was one hell of a party. As we got out of the car, we could hear music blasting. There was a faint smell of alcohol.

I got out of the car. Matt stood beside me. "I'm guessing this is your first party?" He chuckled. "Yeah, it is." My voice shook a little. I know about the stereotypical parties that were crazy, and I was afraid that this might be one.
