Chapter 39

In this chapter Matt and Zoe will have sex. It won't be nasty and graphic but I will put a warning right before it starts. I know some of you don't want them to do it, and some of you do. So with that being said, if you don't want to read it, simply stop reading when it gets to that part. Anyway enjoy!

We woke up to Cade screaming and crying. "Fuck." Matt mumbled. It was 5 am. I groaned dragging myself from the bed. I walked over to Cade's cradle and scooped him up in my arms.

I shook him in my arms, trying to get him to sleep again. That clearly wasn't working and Matt was also getting  frustrated. I took Cade down to the kitchen and fed him some baby food.

After that he calmed down a bit. He giggled at me. How could he be laughing? I got barely any sleep, maybe around 5 hours. I groaned sitting down at the table.

Matt came down an hour later. "Hi." He yawned. I rolled my eyes. He got a longer sleep than me. And to be honest, I have been doing most of the work of taking care of Cade.

Matt and I needed to talk this out. Matt sat at the table smiling at me. "What?" I said, slightly irritated due to my lack of sleep. "What's your deal?" He said a bit taken back. "I didn't get enough sleep okay." I held my head in my hands.

"Look, I'm sorry. You can take a nap and I'll take care of Cade." He smiled, massaging my shoulders a little. "Thank you." I smiled, glad that he was finally helping.

I laid down on the couch, completely exhausted. I fell asleep immediately. But in about 15 minutes, my eyes shot open due to Cade crying. "Ugh." I covered my ears. "Zoe!" Matt yelled.

I rushed to Matt,  thinking there was something wrong. No, Matt was trying to get Cade to stop crying.

"Matt he is reaching towards the water, he wants water." I sighed, shaking my head. Matt quickly grabbed the baby bottle with water and put it in Cade's mouth.

Cade was now fine and not screaming at the top of his lungs. I sighed and walked back to the couch to finish my nap. Just as I sat down Matt called me again.
