Finnick runs up to the truck as soon as we get back to camp. I'm practically crushed to death in his arms. "You guys were gone for so long! I thought...you weren't...coming back," he turns his head away for a moment. How cute, he's trying to keep his manliness for the moment.

"Finnick."

"Hm?" He faces me again.

Before I even know what I'm doing, I stand up on my tiptoes and kiss him. He seems shocked at first, but kisses me back. I honestly didn't think we would make it out of Atlanta alive either.

"I'm here now," I whisper, pulling away. He smiles.

We turn to see what was going on with the rest of the group, hands secretly locked together behind our backs. Morales and his family reunited and there's a big hug festival between them. Amy and Andrea look like they never want to be separated again.

I see Officer Friendly drop to his knees, and wonder if he's alright. I know why as soon as Carl screams "DAD!" He runs to Rick, and Rick envelops Carl in his arms. He stands and walks over to Lori, embracing her as well. I can't help but smile. A family reunited in this hellhole of a world is definitely a sight to see.

I feel like I'm forgetting something. Oh shit, Ellie! I'm the worst sister ever!

I frantically turn to Finnick. "Where's Ellie?!" I panic. What if she tried to run off into the woods again?! What if she's bitten?!

Finnick laughs. I don't see what's so funny about the situation.

"Kira. Relax. She's in the RV," he says with a reassuring smile.

"Thank god," I say, relieved. I head over to the RV.

"Knock knock," I say as I open the door. Ellie's sitting at a table playing chess with herself. She looks up as I walk in.

"Oh, hey," she says halfheartedly. I roll my eyes and sit in the booth in front of her.

"Who's winning?" I ask.

"So far, nothing but ties. I wonder why?" she asks sarcastically.

"Hmm, that I do wonder," I say with a grin.

"Maybe it's because neither side has skill?"

"Or maybe they're both geniuses and thinking of the same tactics."

"Could be."

"Could be indeed," I laugh.

Ellie sighs.

"What?" I ask, concerned.

"Nothing. I just miss this," she says with a frown.

"Don't we all," I close my eyes and remember the days of electricity.

"I miss wi-fi," Ellie says quietly.

"Me too," I agree. We had totally different reasons for using the internet, though. We're both nerds, but I'm the gamer, and Ellie's the comic book person. Her favorite was Savage Starlight.

Our thoughts are interrupted when Shane walks into the RV.

"Ready to go?" he asks.
