ADITL 19

"Lilly! Come back here!"

Naked 4 year old Lilly runs through the house, bubbles covering her body, her hair spiked up with water.

Grayson and Mike watch from the couch, laughing their butts off as they're supposed to be keeping the twins occupied.

"How are you faster than me?!"

"You slow, mommy!" She giggles as she turns around quickly and runs through my legs.

   "Little devil!" I continue to run after her.

   Lilly suddenly falls at the living room entry way. I wanna comfort her, but instead I fall back, out of breath. I sit against the wall and sweat my skin off.

   Grayson immediately runs to Lilly, sits next to her, and holds her. "Hey, princess, don't cry."

   Her crying becomes a little slower, but still exists.

   "You know, you should really put some clothes on."

   She giggles and sniffles a little.

   "One time, in college, your mommy ran around our apartment naked. Well, we were taking a shower together, so we were both running around naked."

   Lilly giggles again, and I glare at him. We weren't just taking a shower, but having shower sex. We thought it was too small in the shower, but of course, Grayson liked it.

   "She also fell down, and got the floor entirely wet. I, uh, 'tickled' her until she finally stood up."

   Mike wears a disgusted look, knowing exactly what we're talking about.

   "Now come on, it's time for bed anyway." Grayson carries her upstairs to her room and I follow, peeking through the cracked door.

   "Unicorn or cupcake pajamas?" Grayson asks.

   "Unicorn!"

   "Good choice." Grayson helps her get dressed then sets her in bed, lying next to her. She pulls covers over both of them and she giggles at Grayson's long legs that hang over her bed.

   He chuckles and kisses the top of her head. Lilly rests her small head on his chest and closes her eyes.

   "Daddy?"

   "Yes, princess?"

   "Do you think a boy will ever love me as much as you love mommy?"

   "Oh, yes. I love mommy so so so much. And you're just so amazing, every single boy will love you just as much."

   "I'm awesome."

   Grayson laughs. "Yeah, you are."

   She gives out a small giggle then falls asleep, letting out soft snores. Grayson rests his head against the wall and falls asleep shortly after. I swear, they've the same exact snore.

   I put a blanket over Grayson's bare legs. After kissing their foreheads, a small smile forms on both of their faces,
