Grayson's smile lights up her small, blue eyes. His gentle touch, even the slightest kiss, makes her giggle or grin.
"Same, Eva. Same." I smile down at her, who's been woken up by Grayson's loud snores as she rests in his arms.
I look back up at Grayson and gently stroke his brown locks of hair, making me grateful it's no longer in the shape of a bowl.
I trace my finger down his cheek, then kiss his thin lips.
His blue eyes slowly flutter open, and he immediately gives a tired smile.
"Hey, beautiful." Gray whispers, which isn't necessary since us girls are awake and John is asleep down the hall, but whatever he wants.
"Hi there." I grin.
"What're you two doing up at..." He lifts up his wrist to check the watch, which he never takes off since I gave it to him for our anniversary. "2:36 AM?"
"Your snoring woke us up." I let out a small giggle.
"Oops." Grayson smirks and leans his chin down, placing a small kiss on Eva's head, making her grin. Told ya.
"I'm gonna go back to sleep." I say, pulling the covers over my face so only my half closed eyes show.
"Alright, I love you."
"I know." I snuggle up close enough to be in his grasp, but not so close that we flatten Eva into a pancake.
I wake up to the sound of very loud giggling. I turn around and see Grayson and Eva gone, so I walk downstairs, rubbing my eyes while doing so.
When I walk into the kitchen, I see chaos. There's a pancake on the floor and ceiling. John is on his knees in a fit of giggles. Eva is in her high chair, naked except for a diaper, with what looks like pancake batter all over her face and hands as she bawls. Grayson just stands at the stove, trying to suppress a laugh as he looks at me.
"Alright, birthday boy, get up." I pick John up and set him in a chair at the table.
"I can't believe I'm 7!" He proclaims.
"Me neither." Grayson and I say N'Sync.
"Why is there pancake batter all over our one month old baby, Grayson James?" I ask. Once she finally stops crying after some comforting, I grab some baby wipes and clean off Eva, who's smiling like a mad man, looking crazy since she has no teeth yet.
"I don't knowww."
I roll my eyes and pick up the pancake on the floor, putting it in the trash. I stand on a chair to throw away the second one, making Grayson laugh.
"Shorty." He teases, making me send him the death glare, which shuts him up.
I sit at the table with John and Eva as Grayson remakes the pancakes. He stacks three on top of each other for John. He gives me one with a smily face made out of whip cream for me. And he made a small little pancake for Eva.
Grayson puts seven candles on John's pancake, carefully lights them, and sings as he places the plate in front of John.
A/N: Please spare bluedevils3 hearing
John smiles and quickly takes the candles off after blowing them out. Him and I dig into our breakfast, and Grayson feeds Eva her small pancake, which is one of the most adorable things ever.
"Do I have any presents?" John asks politely.
"Yep. Gray, could you go get them, please?"
"Nah," He wipes Eva's small, grinning face with a napkin. "You may."
"Fine." I run into our room, and a minute later, I come back with some presents.
Grayson and I aren't the best gift givers, but John only wants few presents.
So, we got him a Luke jersey (yes, that kid is insane), some weird kid movie he loves, a Utah Jazz jacket, and a bag of candy, that I told him not to eat too fast like Grayson does.
We all sit in the living room happily. John sits on the carpet, watching his new movie. Eva plays with Grayson's hand. And I'm cuddled up in Grayson's arms.
I'm living the dream.
