I was quiet maybe to quiet. I just couldn't believe Ellen would do that for me-for us. I don't think I could ever thank her enough for the favor, I'll be forever grateful. My foot shook nervously as I watched the clock turn eight. I watched as a figure appeared out of the shadows; Nym. She smiled warmly at me before glancing over at Harry, her eyes widened a bit.

"Y-you are Harry styles, you actually came. It's such an honor to have you here."she said quietly.

"Yeah." he mumbled awkwardly before running a hand through his curls

"and Natalie thank you for coming." she added.

I waved a hand, like it wasn't a big deal. She led us down a flight of stairs into the subway. My face scrunched up as I noticed the stench. The area was lit up dimly and some lights flickered, threatening to burn out.

"This way." she called over her shoulder walking to an old train car.

She fished around in her pocket before pulling out a coin, she placed in the slot and the doors open. Harry walked in first looking around, almost like he was checking to see if it was safe. He held his hand out towards me.

"thanks." I said resting my head on his shoulder.

I felt the floor shake. The train was moving? But it was descending, I looked over at Nym who had a smirk on her face. I  felt uneasy as the air got heavy, it was hard to make out anything. My hands wrapped around Harry's wrist tightly. I closed my eyes as the light turned on. Slowly I opened them getting adjusted to the new environment.

"Follow me, uh were almost there." she laughed leaving the old train car behind.

"So how many people are here?" I asked

"Ehh I would say roughly a thousand people usually there's more but we decided to divide up into more sections so we could have more one on one training." she replied.

"Oh well that, that makes sense."

Harry remained quiet, I think he was trying to talk only if required.  I squeezed his hand tightly and he turned his attention to me. His eyes focused entirely on me. His lips parted to let out a sigh.

"I want you to stay by my side." was all he said before turning his head straight ahead.

We went through two massive doors and I saw the people. They were practicing combat, firing simulations, laughing and talking one by one voices dropped when they saw us. It was only a matter of seconds before silence over took the room. I stood their with my head down.

"Natalie can you like maybe say something." Nym whispered into my ear.

"Er. I uh can try." I told her quietly.

I took a step forward bringing my attention to the crowd, "Hi everyone, I'm N-Natalie most of you have heard of me on the news a-and, uh anyway." I stuttered.

I looked at harry whose head was tilted to the side gazing at me in pity. Ugh I was sick and tired of sympathy and pity. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath trying to be confident like I knew I was and could be.

"There's going to be an attack on the capital in 7 days starting tomorrow. The first major attack since the dark times and we need everyone. Everyone to be exceptional. All of you play a crucial part in this puzzle. This is so big and so important because if we succeed we can give all our children a bright and free future where they will be able to express themselves." I said looking at the crowd.

I stopped when I saw a familiar face, Miro. I looked into his eyes losing focus for a moment. I shook my head returning to my speech.

"That's all I ever wanted growing up, and that's why this means so much. I refuse to bring someone into this world the way it is now. I won't do it. But I also can't guarantee everyone's safety during this, the odds aren't in our favor, and it's not likely everyone will come back." I said.
