I could barely control myself. It's a Sunday and that's usually when I'm sad, because I don't want to go back to IOAS the following day.
But today is an exception, today I get to see Harry. Despite the terrible rainy weather I'm still optimistic. I've been up since 10, which is pretty good for me. Its now almost 7 pm, the sky outside is cloudy and thick with clouds.
"Hey nor!" Zin said.
I glanced over to my newest best friend who had her hair and make up done."heyy, what's up?"
"You wanna come to grab something to eat with me?" she asked.
"No I'm just gonna stay here, can you being me something back maybe?" I asked.
She nodded her head, "Sure."
"Oh by the way my moms not gonna be here until 6, I don't know her boss needed her to stay longer." she said disappointed.
I felt bad for Zin, her dad is never home, he's not home today because he's on some business trip and her mom barely makes it in every night. She's probably glad she has someone to talk to and spend time with.
"Okay." I said.
"Alright well I'll see you soon!" she said walking out an umbrella in her hands.
After a half an hour of just lying around I needed to occupy myself. I walked over to the patio and grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil. I began to doodle and just draw for fun.
I focused on the pitter patter of rain against the windows. The sound of rain so soothing it was putting me to sleep. After a few minutes, the blank piece of paper turned into a beautiful landscape.
I glanced up and looked outside at the rain, which was coming down pretty hard. I noticed a dark shape. The weather wasn't making it easy for me, but I could definitely see something. I felt my heartbeat pick up. I got up from the chair and walked out on the porch, I slowly descended the stairs. I walked slow and cautious not wanting to get my hopes up. My breathing began to halter as I approached the figure.
Their hood fell down revealing a mop of chestnut curls, Harry. The rain getting soaked up in my clothes. I ran as fast as my legs would take me, it was difficult because they were sticking to the ground. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he placed his arms on my waist. I didn't dare let go. I'm positive that I started to cry but I couldn't tell from the rain. Harry knows, I hope he realizes I am, I want him to know how much I missed him.
I wrapped my legs around his waist and leaned down in the crook of his neck. We stayed there for awhile just embracing each other. I snuggled up to him as close as I could, his skin warming up mine.
"Natalie, you're cold. I'm going to take you inside so you don't get sick." he said softly.
I nodded not trusting myself to speak. I felt his one arm leave my body as he opened the door and walked inside Zin's house. He held me close as he ascended up the stairs. He set me on the ground, and I frowned at the lost of touch. He reached down and slowly started to lift up my shirt, I quickly grabbed his hand.
He looked down at me and spoke slowly.
"It's cotton, and you are wet. You need to change into something warm." he said his eyes never leaving mine.
I released my hand from his allowing him to take off my shirt. I only got embarrassed with Harry, never had anyone made me feel, not good enough. I looked down and he knelt to the ground and undid the button to my jeans. He was slow and careful, as if he didn't want to break me. My skin felt on fire under his gaze.
