"You have to be more specific, my friend," Todd said, looking curious.

"I want to know what Arthit is capable of," Singto answered.  "Can you pretend to be interested in me whenever he is around?"

Todd scoffed, "Are you out of your mind!  You told me he hoodwinked the court just to prove himself to you.  Who knows what else he is capable of."

"Which is why I need your help.  If Arthit is dangerous, I can't ignore it," Singto said sadly.

"If you need my help you know I will never turn my back on you.  Besides, I don't have to pretend much," Todd said winking at Singto.

Singto couldn't help but grin at Todd's words.

"Thanks, man.  I don't know whom else to trust.  I have to warn you though.  You might be in danger, so we have to be vigilant."

"It's not like Arthit can kill me.  So don't worry. I can take it," Todd said, reassuring Singto.

Singto nodded, smiling as if he had a toothache.  It was what he was afraid of.

*************************

*Arthit's POV *

Arthit dreamily watched Singto play tennis.  Todd was sat next to him, taking a break.

Todd was everywhere, and Arthit hated him for it.  He was angrier at Singto for limiting the time they could be spending with each other.

"P' Todd, you have known P'Sing all his life.  Has he ever had a girlfriend or a boyfriend before?" Arthit asked casually.

Todd looked at him as if he was trying to figure out if Arthit was joking.

"Aren't you his cousin?  Shouldn't you know him better than I do?" Todd asked with a sly smile.

Arthit cursed Singto in his head.

"I'm a second cousin.  We aren't that close.  P' Sing is only helping me with accommodation," Arthit replied.

"Nosy about the landlord are we N'Arthit?  Yes, he did have a partner a long time ago," Todd replied, his eyes on Singto.

Arthit looked at Todd in surprise.

"And you are looking at his ex-boyfriend," Todd finished.

"What?  P'Sing dated you?  But he told me he has never been in love before!" Arthit exclaimed.

"Ha!  And yet you asked me if he had someone in the past," Todd said, wiggling his eyebrows at Arthit.

Arthit blushed.  Todd was sharp and Arthit had let his guard down like an idiot.

"No P' Todd.  It's just that it's hard to believe someone as cool as P' Sing never had anyone in his life before," he said cautiously.

"Singto didn't lie to you.  We were teenagers then around fourteen I think.  I wouldn't call it love.  I blame it on the hormones," Todd replied.

Arthit let out the breath he didn't know he was holding.  He noticed the light blush on Todd's cheeks.  His insides were boiling.  Why was Singto back in this man's life?  Todd was still in love with Singto.  His boyfriend.

"Why did you break up?" Arthit asked before he could stop himself.

"Singto's father caught us kissing," Todd simply replied.

Arthit made a face.  "That was it?" he asked.

"Yeah, Poe didn't approve of me.  So, Singto wanted to break up."
