*Arthit's POV *

Singto's skin felt hot against his.  Arthit's lips hovered above Singto's.  He was fighting the urge to kiss Singto until his lips were sore.  Arthit had a lot that needed to be said before Singto could mistake it for lust.

Arthit had moved onto Singto's lap looping his around Singto's neck.

"I hope you remember me this way Kongpob," Arthit said solemnly.

Arthit hated himself for being vulnerable.  He would have been able to carry out his plan without a problem if it had been before he met the man in front of him.

Singto was in his world.  His eyes were heavily lidded.  Arthit loved it when he knew he had gotten Singto weak.  Singto kissed him several times before he realized what Arthit had said.

"What do you mean Arthit?" he asked.

"We have been through a lot.  With or without my knowledge I have hurt you.  You didn't deserve that.  I'm sorry Kongpob.  I am.  I have always wanted you to be happy, and I have failed to give you that," Arthit continued.

"Arthit, you are ruining the mood.  I know we've had some rough patches.  But it happens to everyone.  The fact that we are still here together is what's important," Singto said before kissing Arthit on the neck.

Arthit shuddered.  Singto never failed to excite him even after years of being together.  The feeling hadn't faded.

"Do you wish you had kids Kongpob?" Arthit asked suddenly.

Singto's hands which had been reaching under Arthit's shirt froze.  "What?"

"You know.  If I didn't exist, would you have married a girl and have kids?"

"Arthit, what is this about?" Singto asked sternly.

"It's a simple question Kongpob."

Singto considered the question.  "Maybe?  I don't know.  Sure, I have thought about kids before.  I would have liked to have a son," he said.

Arthit smiled, "I would have loved to see your son another prince in the making, and handsome too," he said.

"Well, I don't need any kids.  I have you already.  That should make up for at least ten children," Singto said sarcastically.

Arthit hugged Singto tightly.  "I want to hold you Kongpob.  It feels nice."

Singto's reluctant arms tightened around Arthit's waist and kissed his forehead.

"Arthit," he whispered.

Arthit pulled back and cupped Singto's face with his hands staring at him.  Singto wasn't supposed to be this important to him.  No one was.  Now his heart was completely taken over by Singto in ways he couldn't explain.  Singto was a part of his heart and soul.  Living without Singto was impossible.

Arthit could see Singto's expression change.   His eyes moved to Arthit's lips.

In a flash, they were kissing each other intensely.  Arthit had no memory of how his shirt had come off.  The windows fogged.  The heavy rain was silencing their moans.  They were truly away from prying eyes.  Arthit wanted to be selfish and never leave the forest.

"This fucking car,  Arthit, I can't move in here," Singto complained, drenched in sweat breaking Arthit's thought process.

Arthit loosened his pants and pulled them down.  "We can adjust if you are still up for it," he said.

"I want you so bad," Singto said, his breath ragged.  "Why does everything you do, turn me on?"

"Hurry up P' Sing."

"P' Sing?  No Kongpob?"

"P' Sing, I'm not going to ask you again."

*Singto's POV*

Singto noticed Arthit's odd behavior.  He didn't completely dismiss Arthit's question about kids.  Was Arthit worried about something he never cared about?  There were plenty of humans on earth, and he didn't need to contribute to saving the species.

He had teased Arthit about the date.  Secretly he had enjoyed it immensely.  Arthit had been unusually clingy.  It had felt like the days when they first started dating.  He was hopeful.  It was the push he needed to speak to his father as soon as possible.

Singto received a call from an unknown number.

"Is this detective Peraya?" a man asked from the other end.

"Yes.  Who is this?" Singto asked.  For some reason, he felt uneasy.

"Your father is in danger.  There is a plan for an assassination tomorrow."

"What did you say?  Who is this?" Singto asked hurriedly.

"Your boyfriend is the one carrying it out Detective.  You have to stop him."

"Tell me who you are!  What the fuck are you talking about!"

"He has been spying on your father for months.  I will give you an address, and you will find him there."

"My boyfriend is a teacher!" Singto shouted at the receiver.

"He resigned a long time ago.  You can check it with the principal.  He lied to you Detective.  He is there right now."

Singto could feel his knees go weak.  Arthit left home early in the morning and informed him he wouldn't be returning home for the day.  They were taking the upper-class students on a field trip.

Arthit's odd behavior and late night arrivals made sense.

Singto called Arthit.  "Hey, where are you?" he asked

"We are done with the reforestation project.  We are now heading back to the hostel.  Why?  Did you miss me P' Sing?"

Singto pursed his lips hot tears poured down his cheeks.  He had turned a blind eye at Bright's death.  Now his father was in danger.  His heart refused to believe the man was telling the truth.  He went to the school, and Arthit had resigned from his teaching position.

Singto left to Bangkok immediately.  He wasn't going to ambush Arthit alone this time.  He wasn't going to let Arthit walk away freely.

Singto and Arthit were pointing guns at each other.

"P' Sing, why do you always have to interfere with my work?" Arthit asked with a pained expression.  "I'm doing this for both of us.  Don't you get it?"

"Drop your gun Arthit.  You are crazy!  Stop this madness."

His colleagues had arrested a few people.  Arthit hadn't lowered his weapon yet.

"P' Sing, imagine.. we will be able to live happily.  We could get married and adopt a few kids.  Become a family.  Your father won't let us do it."

"Arthit... I'm warning you.. drop your gun right now."

"P' Sing, I don't want to hurt you."
