*Arthit's POV*

Arthit ignored Singto's texts.  His imagination was running wild.  Singto and Todd worked together and now hung out after work too.  Arthit's mood probably reflected clearly on his face.

After the school day was over Arthit remained in the staff room.  He didn't have a place to go.  Singh always returned home late at night.

"Not going home N' Arthit?" Earth asked him.

Arthit smiled politely.  "Since I'm starting the extra class tomorrow, I thought I'd prepare today," he replied.

"Nice try N', well I have to go home.  Do you want to hang out with me at my place?"

Arthit was taken aback by Earth's sudden suggestion.

"Uh P', I don't know if.." he began explaining awkwardly.

"Oh, don't worry.  It's my family home, and we have a farm.  Come on!  It's going to be fun!"

Arthit considered her offer.  He didn't have any friends.  He switched off his phone and smiled.

"Let's go."

*Singto's POV*

Singto was driving himself crazy.  Arthit was missing.  Arthit could have gone home for all he knew.  He shouldn't have listened to Todd.  Arthit left for work before he woke up.  The day began off the norm.  His texts were ignored.  Singto was uncomfortable.

What if Arthit was in danger?  Or was Todd in danger?

"Ai Todd?" Singto called his friend.  "Stay close to me alright?"

"What's up?" Todd asked yawning.  "Your psycho is up to something?"

Singto glared at him.  "Don't call him that," he said to Todd, gritting his teeth.

"Hey!  You just asked me to watch out!  I'm saying what you are thinking," Todd complained.

"Arthit is ignoring my texts.  He is hurt, and it's my fault."

"Simba, why make a plan if you don't like the outcome?  Do you want to know the truth or we can drop everything right now and forget about it."  Todd said in a serious tone that meant he was done with the conversation.

"I want to know the truth," Singto said against his better judgment.

*************************

Their apartment was locked.  Arthit should have been back by the time Singto got home.

Singto opened the door with his key.

"No sign of Arthit?  Wow, he is dramatic," Todd muttered.  "Why do I get the feeling someone might come out and beat the shit out of me."

Singto wasn't paying attention to Todd.  He had been trying to get through to Arthit with no success.  His phone was switched off.  Did Arthit run away?  Where was he?  Was this Arthit's plan all along?  Hide until it was time to make a move?  What if Arthit was hurt?  Arthit had worked for dangerous people.  What if someone had killed him somewhere?

"Todd, we have to go to the school."

"It's 10 pm!"

"There has to be a security guard!" Singto exclaimed.

Singto was at the verge of having a nervous breakdown.  Not knowing where Arthit was, gave him flashbacks to a time he never wanted to think of again.
