"How are you feeling?" Elijah asked his sister. "Like I've been stuck in a bloody coffin for 8 months" Rebekah yelled. "And where's Nik? He said he'd be quick" She groaned. "I'm here" Klaus grinned as he entered the parlor with a handful of blood bags and handed one to Rebekah. "Still no sign of Kol?" She asked as she gulped down the blood. "That bastard has been gone for 2 years" Klaus growled. "Well at least he's causing trouble somewhere at not here" Rebekah smirked as she finished off her blood bag. "So, what's going on with your whole hybrid situation?" She then asked Klaus. "Well, Tyler is off somewhere in the Himalaya mountains thinking I don't know about it and Elena is my backup hybrid" Klaus replied with a shrug. "Elena is a hybrid?" Rebekah asked in disbelief. "That is what I said, isn't it" Klaus rolled his eyes. "Where is she?" Rebekah then asked. "Why" Elijah questioned. "I just need to have a ... Chat. With her" The blonde original lied. "You will not go near her" Klaus ordered.

At the Salvatore boarding house, Elena had come running down the stairs and retrieved her car keys from the coffee table. "Come on Care" She called as she walked out the house. "Where are you two going?" Damon asked as Caroline put her jacket on. "I have no idea" Caroline laughed before speeding out the house and into Elena's car. "Where are we going?" She asked as Elena started to drive. "Mikaelson's" Elena smiled. "What, why?" Caroline gulped. "To see Rebekah" Elena smiled. "No! Turn back around. Are you out of your mind?" Caroline scoffed. "Care, I practically stabbed her in the back, I need to gain her trust again" Elena sighed as she pulled into the Mikaelsons driveway. "Whatever you psycho" Caroline muttered as she got out of the car and knocked on the door, followed by Elena. "Come in ladies" Elijah smiled. "Thanks" Elena smiled as she walked inside and went to find Rebekah. "What's happening?" Elijah whispered to Caroline. "Search me" Caroline scoffed awkwardly.

"What are you doing here luv" Klaus asked as he saw Elena. "I need to speak to Rebekah, you seen her?" She asked with a smile. "Erm, yes she's in her room" Klaus said as he pointed to a door at the end of the hallway. "Thanks" Elena smiled before walking off. She knocked on the door a few times before Rebekah finally opened it. "What the bloody hell do are you doing here?" Rebekah groaned. "I erm.. There's this party at the whitmore college and I wanted to invite you " Elena smiled. "And why the hell would you do that" Rebekah scoffed. "Because I feel like a bitch for stabbing you in the back, literally" Elena nervously chuckled. "Come inside" Rebekah said before closing door after her. As Elena entered Rebekah's room, Klaus sped down stairs to the parlour. "What's happening? Why aren't they jumping at each others throats" Klaus asked Elijah. "Niklaus, I am as confused as you are" His brother replied with a sigh.

"Think about it Rebekah, please. It's not exactly as if I'm asking you to.. " Elena started to say but then stopped. "Asking me to what?" Rebekah scoffed. "Nothing, I. Look, I don't expect you to forgive me straight away because of how many times I've betrayed you,. But if I didn't want your forgiveness, I wouldn't be here right now, trying to befriend you again" Elena smiled. "Oh you are impossible Elena Gilbert,. Even if I do forgive you, which I have,. What about all the things I've done to you?" Rebekah asked. "You're forgiven,. I understand why you tried to hurt me, because you were trying to save your brothers, and that's okay" Elena softly smiled. "Never in my 1000 years of living have I ever met someone as kind and passionate as you Elena" Rebekah chuckled. "You're forgiven,. And it's a yes to that party" Rebekah giggled as she shook Elena's hand.

[later in the evening]

"Out of everyone here, you're the only one who can pull off the sexy doctor look" Caroline whistled as she and Elena walked across the campus. "You look hot too Caroline" Elena chuckled. "And you've come as a vampire, how ironic" Elena laughed. "Where's Rebekah?" Elena then asked as she looked around the campus of drunk teenagers. "Did you really have to invite her?" Caroline whined. "Care, it's important I don't have enemies because werewolves are already hated on enough as it is" Elena sighed. "Okay, but that doesn't explain why I have to be friends with her" Caroline scoffed. "No one said you do" Elena smiled before walking off to find Rebekah. "Hey babe" Damon smirked as he appeared in front of Elena. "Dont.. do that" Elena giggled as she playfully hit him. "So, where's the blood slut?" Damon asked as he looked around. "Damon" Elena said in a warning tone. "Yes, Miss Gilbert?" Damon asked, chuckling. "Rebekah!" Elena yelled as she jumped up and down. Rebekah smiled as she turned around and sped over to them. "Looking hot" Rebekah chuckled. "Thank you" Damon smirked. "I was talking to your girlfriend, not you, you rotten scumbag" Rebekah grinned. "THANK you" Elena quickly said, preventing an argument. "Rebekah" Caroline scoffed as she walked towards them. "Oh what the bloody hell do you want?" Rebekah asked as she rolled her eyes. "GUYS, let's just reframe from ripping each other's guts out tonight" Elena sighed. "I'll try" Rebekah smirked before walking inside to get a drink.

"You have a bad taste in friends," Caroline said before walking off to find a hot guy to dance with. "Someone's jealous" Damon cooed. Elena rolled her eyes as they started to walk inside. It was jam-packed and the music was blaring. "I'll go get us some drinks," Damon said before walking off. Elena sighed as she walked her way through the crowd. "Wanna dance?" Rebekah smirked. "Sure" Elena chuckled. They started to dance around and swing each other about when Elena suddenly felt a pair of hands on her waist. She thought it might've been Damon, but she was wrong. "I see you've replaced your blonde friend, with my sister," The British voice chuckled, causing Elena to gulp. "Kol" She whispered. "What did you say?" Rebekah asked as she turned around. "What on gods green planet are you doing here?!" She yelped. "I've come to see my baby sister" Kol chuckled. "Get your hands off of my girlfriend" Damon snarled. "Chill out mate" Kol grinned. "Why the hell are you here?" Elena snapped as she turned around. "Can't I visit my siblings?" Kol asked as he spun Elena around. Damon clenched his jaw as he glared at Kol. "You've been gone nearly 2 years brother, why visit us now?" Rebekah scoffed as she left. "Damon, let's go," Elena said as she followed Rebekah. "Don't touch her like I'm not here" Damon growled at Kol before walking out.

"Rebekah just give him a chance, he's your brother," Elena said as she sat beside Rebekah on her bed. "You don't know anything Elena. You don't know what it's like to put all your faith and trust in someone and then for them to just leave you" Rebekah sobbed. "Trust me, I do" Elena whispered. "Look, just get some rest" She then said as she covered Rebekah with a blanket and left her room. As Elena walked downstairs and into the parlor, she was pinned against the wall by none other than Kol. "Get off of me" She whined as she tried to push him away. "You miss me?"He smirked. "Kol, leave the poor girl alone" Elijah commanded. "Ugh, why are you always so noble brother?" Kol complained. "Because she has a boyfriend, who won't hesitate to rip your head off" Elijah scoffed. "Well, that won't stop me from having my fun" Kol smirked. "I know you love me" Kol whispered in Elena's ear, causing goosebumps to appear on her body. "Whatever" Elena scoffed as she pushed him away and making him fall onto the couch, causing a smile to appear on Elijah's lips. "Shut up" Elena scolded. "I didn't say anything" He chuckled. "Tell Rebekah to call me in the morning," Elena told Elijah before leaving the Mikaelsons mansion.
