"Look, I am so sorry I didn't mean to just come here and dump the news on you all like that" Hayley sighed. "It's fine" Elena whispered. "I promise you, there is nothing going on between us. That night was a mistake but no matter what, this baby is still ours" Hayley smiled. As Elena was about to say something, she noticed a mark on Hayley's wrist. "Crescent Moon" She whispered. "What?" Hayley asked confused. "Your mark,. I have the same" Elena announced. "That can't be possible" The werewolf said as she shook her head. Elena sighed as she pulled her shirt up and pointed to the mark on her lower back. "That's.. Crazy" Hayley scoffed and she traced her thumb over Elena's mark. "Do you, know where your pack are?" The doppelganger then asked eagerly. Hayley shook her head lowly before beginning to speak. "My parents gave me up for adoption, and my foster parents didn't give a shit about me. I ran away and that's when I found our pack. I was desperate for a family so I agreed to stay with them but they were trying to make me marry some guy called Jackson. So I ran, again. That's how I found Mystic Falls and ended up having sex with some random hybrid. And now I'm carrying his child" Hayley said all in one go. "What's your story?" She then asked Elena. Well, I used to live in Amberdale with my family until a witch hexed my aunt Jenna, and she did some pretty bad things which led me to kill her. Klaus killed my brother and dad but me being the  idiot that I am, I forgave him. He also compelled me to kill my own mom and I stupidly let him turn me into a hybrid, and then he accidentally gave me his mother's blood which made me immortal, so I can only be killed with a white oak stake" Elena explained. "I guess we've both had it tough" Hayley chuckled.

As soon as they finished talking, they headed downstairs to join everyone else in the parlour. "Elena" Klaus said as soon as she entered. She took a deep breath before taking his hand and walking into the kitchen with him. "Yes?" Elena asked. "Look, I,. I'm sorry for,. This" Klaus sighed. "You don't have to apologise Klaus, it's not exactly like we're together or anything" Elena scoffed. "I don't mind, because I've always wanted to be an aunt,. But know this, if you harm Hayley, I'll have to deal with you myself, same goes for whoever else tries to touch her" Elena giggled. "Well if it's worth anything, I'll help you find your pack" Klaus smiled. "That would be awesome" Elena chuckled as she pecked him on the lips. "Hey, I don't mean to interrupt or anything, but er we kind of have a problem" Caroline said as she walked into the kitchen. "What are you talking about?" Elena asked. "This witch girl has come to tell us something" Caroline sighed as she went back to the parlour. "Sophie" Elena whispered as she followed Caroline. "What is going on?" Klaus asked as he walked in. "There's something you all need to know about the baby" Sophie said as she stood up. "Well well, what a surprise" Klaus mocked. "Niklaus, listen" Elijah warned. "Continue little witch" Klaus grinned. "That baby is harmful to us witches, and the elders will do whatever it takes to try and kill it" Sophie gulped. "You will not lay a hand on that child!" Rebekah growled as she sped to Sophie and held her by the throat. "Rebekah, release the girl" Elijah sighed. Sophie started to cough and splutter as she fell to the floor. "What the hell are you talking about?" Elena snapped. "The baby hasn't even been born yet, so how is it harmful to you stupid witches?" She asked. "This is a miracle baby, correct? The ancestors said that if it is born, it will bring death to all us witches" Sophie responded. "If you touch that baby, I will bring death to all of you witches!" Rebekah yelled. "Look just, get the hell out of here" Elena said as she grabbed the witch and sped her out the house. "Your sister died yesterday, yet your here telling us that you're going to kill an innocent child?!" Elena snarled. "Things happen, and my sister dying was one of them" Sophie said, as if without care. "What the hell is wrong with you? I swear to god, if those withes harm the baby I will slaughter them" Elena snapped.

Later on in the day, Elena had decided to go out and have a drink with her best friend. "Look I just think that maybe you're letting this whole hybrid thing get to you"  Caroline whined as she sipped her coffee. "Care what are you talking about?" Elena tutted. "You threatened to slaughter a coven of witches, the Elena I knew would never do that" Caroline whimpered. "The Elena you knew is long gone" Elena sighed in response. "I just want the old you back" Caroline scoffed. "What old me? The scared little girl who couldn't fight her own battles? The girl who got treated like shit? The girl that shed her own blood?! That girl is dead!" Elena yelped. "Excuse me, I don't mean to be rude or anything, but you guys are being really loud" The blonde bartender said as she stood at their table.  "Shut up and get lost" Elena growled, compelling her. "You see? This is what I mean" Caroline squealed as she got her bag and left. "Care. wait" Elena huffed as she got up and followed after her. As soon as Caroline reached the Mikaelson mansion, she slammed the door and walked straight upstairs. Elena groaned as she walked into the house and closed the door. "Elena, a word" Hayley smiled as she poked her head out of the parlour. "Sure" Elena said hesitantly. "Elijah's gone" The werewolf then announced as Elena walked in. "What the hell do you mean he's gone!" Elena yelled in panic. "I daggered my brother and handed him over to Marcel" Klaus grinned as he looked up from the book he was reading. "And you didn't stop him?" Elena asked as her eyes darted towards Rebekah. "Well if I said something, he would've daggered me too" Rebekah chuckled anxiously. Elena scoffed as she put her leather jacket on and started to head out until Klaus stopped her. "And where do you think you're going luv?" Klaus grinned. "To get Elijah back" Elena growled. "Are you insane, Marcel already despises you" Rebekah scowled. "I am going to politely offer him a deal, if he rejects then I'll show him what I'm really capable of" Elena smirked. "Try not to get yourself killed, again" Klaus jeered. "Shut up" Elena sighed before speeding out of the house.

She searched the whole quarter before finally finding the old church. "Well, let's take a look" She whispered to herself as she walked in. "Can I help you?" The priest asked as he turned around. "Oh erm hi, I'm Elena" She smiled as she greeted him. "Father Kieran" He replied as he shook her hand. "Where's Marcel?" Elena suddenly growled as her eyes flashed an amber. "I don't know who that is" Father Kieran gulped. "Do you really think you can fool me?" Elena growled as she held him by the throat. "LET GO OF HIM" Marcel yelled as he pushed Elena off him. "There you are" Elena smirked. "You think you can just come into my city and terrorise my people?!" Marcel roared. "You seemed to be doing a good job of that by yourself the other day" Elena snarled. "Now, where is Elijah?" She asked. "Now why would I tell you?" Marcel scoffed. "Because if you don't ... Well let's just say I have my ways of finding out" Elena smirked. "I'm 800 years older than you kid" Marcel jeered. "You ain't gonna do nothing to harm me, or my people" He smiled. "Well, I can certainly harm that witch you're hiding in the attic" Elena grinned deviously. Marcel gulped as he looked at Father Kieran. "What did you tell her?" Marcel growled. "He told me nothing" Elena scoffed. "I'm guessing that's how you run the city" She then chuckled. "I won't ask again,. Give me Elijah"
