"Well, I think she deserved it" Rebekah scoffed. "Go away" Elena snarled. "Elena stop being so stupid, you have nowhere else to go, so get your backside up and come back" Rebekah sighed. "Why do you even care Rebekah?! I'm just another supernatural creature, I don't mean anything" Elena cried. "Oh bloody hell are you really that stupid?" Rebekah huffed as she sat next to Elena on the bench. "If I didn't care, I wouldn't be here" She smiled. "I killed my friend, Rebekah" Elena snapped. "Friend? Please, she slept with your boyfriend and tried to kill you" Rebekah scoffed. "Just come back" Rebekah pleaded. "On one condition,. None of them find out" Elena sighed, referring to her friends. "I promise" Rebekah smiled.

[at the Mikaelsons residence]

"Make yourself a coffee or something, I'm going to bed" Rebekah smiled as she gave Elena a quick hug before walking away upstairs. The brunette picked up a coffee mug but then set it back down again. "Everything okay?" Klaus asked as he entered the kitchen. "I don't know Klaus." Elena sighed. "I mean, I.. - I killed Bonnie" She stuttered. "But you didn't mean to" Klaus replied with a sympathetic smile. "Is that supposed to make it okay?" Elena scoffed. "Yes. After what she did to you, she deserved it" Klaus growled. "So that's your solution to everything? Just kill someone whenever they make a mistake" The doppelganger sighed as she ran a hand through her hair. "She was right... - Bonnie. Was right" Elena whispered. "About what?" Klaus asked confused. "About you. This family." She replied spitefully. "What's that supposed to mean?" Klaus growled lowly. "I don't know Klaus, you tell me. Ever since I got involved with you and your family, I haven't exactly been myself" The young hybrid gulped. "It's just-... You killed my mom. Yet I'm standing here, in front of you. Not even afraid" Elena proclaimed. "Because you feel something for me" Klaus grinned. "Excuse you?" Elena scoffed. "Admit it Elena. It's so obvious" He smirked. "I don't know where you got that from, but.. I just got out of a messy relationship with Damon. And I don't think I'm over him" Elena whispered. "Ah yes, Damon. The one whom you love so deeply. Yet he hit you and then slept with your best friend." Klaus spat. "The whole bottle thing was an accident, he was trying to hit Stefan. And as for sleeping with Bonnie.. It was this whole scheme to try and make me hate him. I know cause Rebekah told me" Elena explained. "Well that's just like you isn't it. You think that Damon is doing this for you? He's doing it for himself. So he can be free of you" Klaus shouted angrily. "Wow. I..- thanks a lot" Elena said sarcastically before walking away, leaving Klaus alone.

The next day, no matter how much Elena tried to ignore him, he would always find a way to make her smile. "Klaus" She yelped. "What is it luv" He smirked cockily. "I forgive you okay? Now stop making me laugh" She chuckled. "So we're okay?" He asked. "Yeah. I needed to hear that. I need to move on" She smiled. As Klaus was about to say something, Elena fell to the floor with a piercing wail. "What happened?" Klaus asked in panic as he picked her up. Elena shook her head as tears fell from her eyes. "It hurts" She whimpered. "Everything okay? I heard you yell" Kol said as he appeared in the doorway. "I'm fine" Elena smiled weakly. "Okay then" Kol scoffed as he walked away. "It's happening" She then said as she turned to Klaus. "Oh bloody hell, not today" Klaus sighed. "Go to your room and rest. I'll be up with some blood in a bit" He smiled. The brunette obeyed and hurried to her room as Klaus got her some blood. "Here you go" The blonde vampire sighed as he handed Elena a blood bag. "I'll stay with you, incase it happens" He then announced as he sat down on the rocking chair in the corner of the room. Elena chuckled to herself lightly as she lay down on her bed, slowly beginning to fall asleep.

Hours later, she suddenly shot up from her sleep. "My. Head" Elena groaned as she rubbed her temple. "Your teeth, they're changing" Klaus inserted. "You need to go. It's happening" Elena whimpered. "I'm staying" The original hybrid replied. "Klaus, it isn't up for discussion. Leave. Or else you'll get hurt" Elena snapped. Klaus nodded his head slightly before heading out. As soon as he had left, Elena got up from her bed and walked over to the dresser. As she was about to reach for her phone, she felt her elbow move out of place. "Ow!" She yelped. Before she was able to move another inch, all the bones in her body began to deform. The young hybrid wailed in pain as she transformed into her true self. Without a second thought, the young wolf ran down the stairs and out of the house, howling as the wind touched her smooth fur. "That's it?" Rebekah scoffed as she came out from hiding. "I guess so" Klaus replied as he stepped into the parlor. "I thought it was meant to be more gruesome and unbearable" The blonde vampire chuckled. "It is, but she somehow kept it under control" Her brother replied. "So what now?" Elijah asked as he strolled into the room. "We wait for her to come back" Klaus grinned.
