I have spring break for a week starting this weekend so I'll update a couple of times before college resumes!

(Y/N's POV)

Today was the day. Today was the day I was going to finally do it. Today was the day I was finally going to admit my feelings to Taemin. Taemin and I have been friends and have known each other for a little over a year now. I've liked him ever since, but never confirmed my feelings until now. I could infer that Taemin liked me too, and I knew making the first move will be shocking since usually the guy has to make the first move, but I didn't want to just sit around and wait. I really liked Taemin and I wanted to do something about it

I tied my shoes and stood up with a sigh. I brushed my dress off and double checked myself in the mirror. I smiled at my beaming reflection and walked out of my apartment. Today I was meeting up with Taemin after a week and a half. We planned a simple meet up over dinner but I obviously had a different plan. On my way to the restaurant I just prayed that it all goes well.

I also prayed he wasn't late either. Since Taemin was now a very well known celebrity, he had gotten super busy. I wouldn't be surprised if he came late today since it was the usual routine by now, but I would obviously be a little hurt, as always

To my surprise Taemin arrived on time. As I took a turn onto the restaurant's block, I spotted Taemin taking a turn as well from the opposite side. We locked eyes and a smile instantly decorated my lips.

Taemin's POV

Today I was meeting up with (Y/N) for dinner. I wore a simple white shirt paired with black ripped jeans and a baseball cap. I got ready on time and stepped out of the dorm I shared with my band members

On my way to the restaurant I thought about my meet ups with (Y/N) and realized how I have been arriving late every time which made me feel extremely bad. I had gotten very busy recently, hence I was always late to our meet ups.

There would be days where I'd show up 15-30 minutes late or while she was leaving to go back home, yet she never openly complained, though I could clearly see the hurt in her eyes

I looked down and sighed after I realized my mistakes

"Thankfully I'm going to arrive on time (Y/N). I won't disappoint you this time" I smiled to myself in happiness and continued to stride towards the restaurant.

(Y/N)'s POV

Taemin and I approached each other. "You're here on time" I raised my eyebrows and spoke impressively

"Tried not to be a disappointment this time" Taemin joked which made me laugh

We entered the restaurant and took our seats. During dinner we chatted and caught up with each other. Taemin had grown super busy as a celebrity but I loved how he was always so humble and down to earth. He told me about his other band members, and how their progress was coming along on the new album.

"You have to meet the others! I think you'll get along just fine!" Taemin spoke excitedly and I smiled at his cuteness. I nodded in response which only made him smile wider

After dinner, we walked out of the restaurant

"Come, I'll walk you home" Taemin offered which took me by surprise

"Really?" I asked dumbfounded

"Why are you so shocked? You don't want me to?" He asked with a chuckle and I immediately shook my head
