Key (fluff) | Dinner Date with Daddy

For y'all dirty minds out there: no, this is not the same type of 'daddy' y'all think it is smh *slaps forehead* (Ik you all well ;) XD)

[Note: C/N stands for "child name". (See I told you guys it's not the kind of daddy you all think it is. XD)]

"Amma, when is daddy going to come home?" My 5 year old daughter huffed and pouted

"He'll be home soon baby girl. You know his work schedule right? Some days he's early, some days he's late; but you know he never forgets right?" I sat down next to her and passed her a smile. I rubbed her arm while assuring her and she gave me a slight hopeful smile

Key had planned to take our 5 year old daughter out for a 'date'. That was his way of spending time with, spoiling her, and making her feel loved and special. This tradition has been going on for a couple of months now and an occasion like this would occur at least once a month for sure.

Key, being the fashionista he is, would come home that specific night and pick out a fashionable dress for himself and for his daughter. They'd get ready together and till then I would set up their dinner table with a lighted candle in between and their favorite food set out for them.

I really loved Key for this. Despite his busy schedule he would always try his best to take time out for his family, especially his growing daughter who needs utmost love and attention at this tender age. (C/N) was growing closer and closer to Key and it warmed my heart to see our daughter receiving the love and care she deserved from both her parents

Suddenly the bell rang and (C/N) jumped up in her seat with twinkling eyes and ran towards the door. I chuckled at her excitement and ran after her. I unlocked the door and we came face to face with an equally excited Key

"Daddy!!!" (C/N) squealed and Key took her into his arms. He picked her off her feet and she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Looks like someone missed me" Key chuckled and I moved aside so he can enter in

"Yes daddy I missed you" (C/N)'s muffled voice spoke. "I waited so long for you" she picked her head up and pouted at Key

"Aww I'm so sorry my baby! Daddy was busy with shoot, but you know I never forget right?" He asked the almost exact same question I had posed for our daughter earlier.

(C/N) smiled and nodded her head. She then cutely giggled. "You know, mommy asked me the very same question" she found this coincidence funny and I laughed at her innocence. Key laughed and looked at me

"Welcome babe" I greeted him and he bent down to place a kiss on my forehead. I smiled at him and walked into the dining room to get started with the preparation while Key took our daughter upstairs

*Key's POV*

"Daddy, I want to wear something pink today to match with your pink hair" (C/N) stated and I nodded my head at her request

"As you wish princess. Your wish is my command" I replied back in a soldier-like tone and (C/N) laughed.

I set (C/N) down and after we reached her room I got straight to picking out an outfit for her. I rummaged through the variety of clothes before settling down for a baby pink frock that had white embroidery. (C/N) quickly got ready and I did her hair. I helped her wear her white shoes and then I handed her (Y/N)'s powder and a makeup brush. With her tiny hands she patted some powder on her face, then set the powder down and smiled widely at me.

My princess was all ready.

"You look beautiful (C/N)" I kissed her cheek and she shyly giggled
