~Phil's POV~

I felt hot tears start to leave my eyes as I placed his phone on the table, "P-Phil I-"

"How Long?" I mumbled,

"W-what?" he stepped forward but ceased when I stepped back and met his eyes with mine.

I couldn't form words, but then again how does one ask something like this? "How long?" I said, more clearly this time. His eyes stared at me for what seemed like hours until he finally looked away. "How. Long. Dan.?" I pushed as my hands slowly started to form fists. He didn't answer, he just looked at me and started walking towards me, grabbing his phone off the table and shoving it into his pockets. "Dan." his eyes met mine before he turned away and started his way towards the stairs, "DAN!" I screamed, he turned around in shock at my outburst, "Tell me what's going on!" His eyes said it all, he didn't really need to say anything at this point but yet I still wanted something, any sort of reassurance at this point. Slowly he started his way up the stairs, I ran after him, not giving a single fuck about my stitches, he stopped cold once my hand was wrapped around his wrist. "Please..." His brown eyes met mine as I felt more tears threaten to escape, "Please tell me what's going on,"

"N-No..."

"W-what?"

"I said 'no' okay!? I said 'no' Phil! It's none of your business so just... Fuck off!" He shouted as he turned to face me, eyes filled with a mixture of sadness and anger.

"Why can't you tell me the truth!? Tell me! I want to understand! I want to help!" I was confused, hurt and mostly angry at that moment, I couldn't understand why the truth was such a secret. He mumbled something as he huffed under his breathe, "What?" I felt the words fall out of my lips.

"I SAID THEY WERE RIGHT! THEY WERE RIGHT, OKAY!? TROYE, JOE ALL OF THEM! YOU'RE ALWAYS UP IN MY BUSINESS, ALWAYS NEEDING TO KNOW MY EVERY MOVE! DAMMIT PHIL!" His eyes were dripping with anger at this point as he stepped towards the front door,

"I should've left you in that alley to die!"

I felt my chest hurt, with that he was out my front door. Hot tears streaming down my face as I chased after him when I found him he was getting in a cab. "DAN! DAN WAIT! PLEASE!"

At this point, I was pleading, holding onto the slight hope that this wasn't the end. His eyes met mine before he got into the cab and drove away, leaving me standing in the middle of the street, soaked from the rain, crying and heartbroken. Watching. Hoping. Praying. Waiting. But overall I guess I was being quite pathetic, waiting for something that I thought was never going to leave. Something I gave my heart to, let alone my virginity, as well as all my secrets, hopes, and dreams. Somehow, I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that this was all real, some part of me wanted to believe this was all a horrible dream, and that I would eventually wake up to see Dan's smile. I must've stood there in the middle of the street for a long time because when I finally pushed myself to go back inside the rain had stopped completely and the streets were starting to dry up from the sun. Every step I took away from the road and towards my front door felt like my heart was being pried from my chest with an ax. I slowly made my way through the door and up the stairs, I passed my room completely. Ignoring all the memories, all the things that made me happy. Instead, I walked straight into the guest room, a room that I had hoped soon Dan would call his own. His clothes scattered on the floor, his laptop, camera, plans for YouTube videos. Everything was here. That familiar lump in my throat had started to return as I laid on the bed, where I cried myself to sleep.
