"Are those my glasses?" Adrianna watched helplessly as her older sister Rosa dangled her square framed glasses over the toilet, then dropped them in. Floosh! She stared blurrily as her glasses swirled down the toilet into the underground world.
"That's just great Rosa! Now how am I supposed to see? And on the first day to a new school!"
Adrianna, Rosa, and Rosa's twin brother Arturo were starting at a new school in California. Adrianna was sure Rosa and Arturo would fit in perfectly. They were perfect, beautiful, funny and athletic. And meanwhile, Adrianna was just known as "Rosa's or Arturo's little sister". Blehh.
Rosa smiled mischievously. "How about you use.... THEESE!" Rosa whipped out Adrianna's emergency contact lenses. Adrianna sighed. Rosa had been itching to give Adrianna a "Makeover" for a while now.
"Adri! You could be so hot if you just let me pluck these, cover up these, whiten these...." Rosa was poking and prodding all over Adrianna's face.
"Okay! Okay! Do what you must." Rosa clapped and cheered, and although Adrianna rolled her eyes, she was secretly happy to be out of Rosa and Arturo's shadow.
