"Of course she's not a slut!" Rosa and Arturo continued to argue over Adrianna, who sat on her bed and watched.

"Well she sure was dancing like one. And you've been dressing her like one lately," Arturo growled. "Whatever you butt munch! This makeover is working great for her!" Rosa fired back.

It was 3 in the morning, and the three had left the party hours ago, and were still arguing over it. "Adrianna why don't you give your side," offered Rosa. "Yeah, go on," Said Arturo.

"Well, I was just dancing," Adrianna shrugged. She was extremely tired, and she was sure she do nothing wrong. "With the shortest dress you could find?" Asked Arturo accusingly. He had always been overprotective, but now with the makeover Adrianna guessed it was kind of overwhelming for him.

"Arturo, you're being such a grandma!" Rosa whined, putting an arm around Adrianna. She was glad to have someone on her side in this situation.

"Whatever Rosa. You're the one teaching our little sister to be a hooker ," Arturo huffed. "That's it!" Rosa shrieked and launched for Arturo. She knocked them both on the ground and started pulling on his hair. He had both hands on her face and was trying to pry Rosa off of him.

Adrianna had seen many of these fights between them, and there was virtually no way to stop it. But she couldn't let them fight because of her, so she stuck herself in between and tried her best to break them apart.

"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?" All three of them froze, and looked at the doorway. It was their father, who was home early from a business trip. Adrianna immediately remembered she still had on Rosa's dress, and slipped back on the bed and wrapped herself in her covers. "Hi dad," they all chimed in unison.

"Rosa, Arturo, get up from the ground," Mr. Vicari sighed setting down his suitcase. "Dad I--" Arturo started but Mr. Vicari raised his hand. "Save it. You all wanna tell me what all that commotion was about?"

As soon as he said those words, Rosa and Arturo started blurting out their sides of the story and once again was silenced by their father's hand. "Adrianna, do you wanna tell me what's going on?"

All eyes were on her now and she hesitated. "Ummm... We went to a party--"

"A party? Didn't I tell you guys not to go anywhere while I was gone?"

"Yes dad, but it was my friend's birthday and I couldn't just say no," Adrianna said giving Mr. Vicari the puppy dog eyes She had been using for years. He seemed to soften up a bit, but then Arturo had to jump into the conversation.

"Why don't you look at what she wore to the party Dad?"

Adrianna growled at Arturo then immediately stopped when her father looked at her and lifted an eyebrow. "Well," he said. "Let me see."

Adrianna tried the eyes again, but this time her Dad wasn't buying it. She sighed and then uncovered her self reluctantly and stood up.

He gasped and mumbled some words in Italian.

"Adrianna I thought I raised you better than to wear this to a public place! Do you want me to buy you nothing but turtleneck sweaters and jogging pants?" He scolded. Again, this had never happened to her. Rosa, yes, her, no.

"Dad, don't blame her. It's my dress," Rosa confessed. "When did you buy this?" Mr. Vicari asked, his attention turning to Rosa. "Uh, bout a month ago," Rosa answered in a tiny voice.

Arturo butt in again. "Dad, you should have saw how she was dancing with some guy--"

"Adrianna Melina Valencia Catalina Shorê Vicari! You danced with a boy in that dress? I'm surprised you didn't come home pregnant!" He yelled. Adrianna was on the brink of tears. She had never been yelled at by her dad before, she was usually his little princess. She also hated Arturo right now for being such a damn snitch. She'd get him later.

"I'm sorry Dad," she mumbled, trying to keep her voice from cracking. "Adrianna, you are still a little girl. So act like it from now on," Her father snapped. She nodded.

"Rosa, I'm disappointed in you for giving her this dress. You're both grounded for a month!"

Adrianna's mouth dropped open. The longest she'd been grounded for was a week, and that was for snapping at the teacher for giving her a C on a test.

"Dad no! I have a date on Friday and--"

"That's to bad Rosa! And no electronics either! So that means your phone's should be in my hands by tomorrow morning."

Rosa gave an over exaggerated sigh and plopped down on the floor. Arturo looked satisfied with himself. Adrianna just stood there, shell shocked about what had just occurred.

"Now wash up and get to bed, all of you," Mr. Vicari concluded before, picking up his suitcase and stomping to his room. "I hate you right now you ass," Rosa spat at Arturo. "I'm just looking out for you guys," he shrugged walking out.

Rosa crawled out soon after. "I'm sorry Adri," she muttered. Adrianna just stood there.

"So, um, Friday?" Aj asked nervously as Adrianna stuffed her things in her locker. "Aj, I really want to but--"

He stopped her. "No, I shouldn't have asked," he said, looking disappointed. "No, Aj , I'm glad you asked. It's just that I'm grounded," Adrianna groaned. She didn't even like saying the word.

Aj visibly relaxed. "Oh. What for?" He asked. "For going to Kelly's party. A whole month," Adrianna sighed shaking her head.

"Well, I have tickets to the 5SOS concert but--"

Adrianna dropped her Pre-Calculus book and grabbed Aj by the shoulders. "5SOS ? WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO?" People were starting to stare but Adrianna really didn't care. She loved the 5 seconds of summer, and she would do anything to see them.

"Uh my cousins had the tickets but they gave them to me. I didn't know you were that into them," Aj shrugged.

"Into them? I worship them," Adrianna exclaimed. "I guess since you're grounded I'll just give the tickets to Dodo or something," he sighed.

Adrianna was so conflicted inside. How would she convince her Dad to let her go? That's just it, she thought. I won't.

"I'll sneak out," Adrianna concluded, flinching at her own words. Who was she becoming?

"Really?" AJ asked, his face lighting up. "I mean, I don't want you to get in trouble," he said.

"Don't worry, I'll just sneak out my window, and we'll go to the concert, then I'll be back in bed before anyone ever notices," She said, rubbing her hands together in excitement. "Sounds like a plan," Aj laughed, and they hugged, for longer than Adrianna intended. When the hug finally broke, they just stood there holding each other for a moment and looked into each other's eyes. Then the bell rung, and they awkwardly let go of each other, and ran off to 1st period together.
