Adrianna was going to try and make a run for it, maybe dive in to the nearest trash can or fling herself out a window. But it was to late, she was cornered. She found herself feeling like she was on that show Rosa loved, Cheaters, and that she was being confronted by all her lovers who were now going to find out she wasn't faithful. But, Adrianna wasn't with any of them, so why in the heck does she feel this way?
"Did I intrude on something?" Christopher asked confused. It was the shot that signaled that the war had begun, the shot that turned the awkward silence into chaos.
"Yeah, Mr. President you did. Me and Adrianna were having a talk, so I suggest you stay out of it."
"Adrianna you're talking to this airhead again?" He gave her a look of sheer disappointment, the same one plastered on her father's face the night of the party.
"Uh--", was all she could sputter before the shots went off again. "Yeah, pothead, she is! Better her talk to me than some loser stoner."
"Like you can talk. What is your gpa this year, like 1.8?" Christopher scoffed. "Adrianna just come to lunch and forget these losers. Dodo and the rest of us are worried about you," Aj sighed. Adrianna took a step towards Aj. But then Leo grabbed her arm.
"We still have things to talk about. I thought you were going to help me figure this out."
Suddenly Adrianna was mad. "Figure this out?! I was talking to you but you decided to swap spit instead!" She shook his arm off, and Leo looked hurt.
"You kissed him?" Aj and Christopher said in unison. "No! He kissed me!" Christopher shrugged like this was an everyday thing. "I'll text you later Adrianna when things between you and your little followers are figured out. And our date will have to be on hold for now."
"Date?!" They all whipped around to find Arturo approaching their little get together. Adrianna went ice cold.
"You were planning to have a date with my little sister? You're an ADULT! She's fifteen!"
Christopher just stood there, looking smugly at Arturo who was fuming. "Why are you even here Arturo?" She screeched. She honestly did not need her annoying older brother in her business right about now.
"I heard a lot of commotion coming from the hallway while i was in study hall," He fired. "I never knew it would be my little sister and her three boyfriends."
"They are not my boyfriends you jerk!"
"Not yet anyway," said Leo. Adrianna was sure Arturo was about to punch his face in when they all heard a shrill scream. All their heads turned to spot Delilah with a tomato red face storming toward them. Holy. Shit.
"Adrianna watch out!" It was Aj, and she was so busy praying that she didn't know Delilah was aiming for her. By the time the words left Aj's mouth, Delilah had tackled Adrianna to the ground and was clawing at her face.
"Sweet, girls gone wild," Christopher drooled, watching the scene unfold. It was meant to be under his breath, but Arturo heard it and went at him. It was then that she realized that Christopher wasn't so sophisticated and gentlemanly. He was a dog, just like any other guy.
Adrianna had no idea how to fight, but she had seen enough videos on world star hip-hop to know the basics. As Delilah tried to scratch her eyes out, Adrianna grabbed a handful of blonde locks and yanked. Delilah yelped and continued to attack her like a wild cat.
"Delilah get off of her!" It was Leo, and soon he easily hoisted her off of Adrianna. She took a deep breath as Delilah continued to scream, restrained in Leo's arms. "YOU WHORE! DON'T EVER COME NEAR LEO AGAIN OR I'LL HANG YOU FROM YOUR SHOELACES!" Adrianna felt legitimately terrified, because the last sentence she said was low and devil like, in contrast to her usual high perky voice.
Then, she was being helped up by a set of soft hands, Aj's hands. "Get up. Your nose is bleeding." She knew it wasn't from Delilah, because her fist never connected with her face, she just got nosebleeds when she was in crazy or scray situations.
Over to her right, Arturo had Christopher in a headlock. "You perv! Say you'll leave my sister alone or I'll break your neck!"
"Then my father would have your neck and you'd be living the rest of your life in prison!"
"What in the world is going on here?" Yet another person would join this little party, Adrianna thought.
But this person wouldn't join the party at all. It was Principal Malloy, her blonde hair neatly wrapped in a bun, her square glasses resting on her nose. Her lips were tightly pressed into a line, and her teeth gritted angrily. No, she wouldn't join. She was here to break this party up.
