Tampon to the Rescue

It was first period again, and Dodo, Aj and Adrianna were still "working" in a group. Adrianna wouldn't call it working though, they were mostly just cracking up at each other's lame jokes.

In the middle of their laughing, Adrianna heard one of the popular girls, Gabrielle, say , "Delilah is totally gonna fuck her up at lunch for trying to steal Leo."

Adrianna shivered. What if this was true and she was talking about her ? She was pretty sure they were. Would Delilah embarrass her in front of the whole school, just because of one mini date with Leo?

"What's up sugar pup?'' Dodo asked her suddenly, laying a concerned hand on her shoulder. "Yeah, I thought my joke was pretty good," said Aj, pretending to be hurt. "No, guys. It's nothing really. I just have some stuff on my mind," Adrianna replied, giving a weak smile.

"You know you're the worst liar on the face of the planet,"Aj said. "What's really going on?"

Adrianna sighed and decided to come clean. "I'm scared," she blurted, looking down at her lap. "Scared of what? Drug screenings? Me too girl," Dodo said. "Dodo shut up," Aj barked.

"No, this girl Delilah--"

"You mean Satan," Dodo interrupted, giving herself little horns on her head with her fingers.

"Sure. Anyway, I heard she was gonna try something at lunch, and I don't wanna be made a fool of."

Aj's eyebrows knitted together in confusion. "What did you do?" He asked . "Ummm..." Adrianna hesitated. Just come out and say it you coward. Alright. 3..2..1-

"I kinda sorta went on this date type thing with Leo," Adrianna finally confessed. Dodo slowly took the devil horns from her head. Aj looked disappointed. "Even after that stunt he pulled in the lunchroom?" He asked.

"Yeah, i'm giving him a second chance alright? He just looked so pathetic," Adrianna sighed. "Adrianna, you don't know him like we do. He's nothing but a liar. I guarantee he'll be back to his old ways before you know it," Aj stated, his blue eyes now dark and stormy.

"Word to your mother," Dodo agreed, now twirling a pencil around a lock of her hair.

"OK fair enough. If he screws up again, you guys can rub it in my face and say 'i told you so' a million times," Adrianna said looking down at her lap. "I'd never wanna rub it in, I just don't wanna see you get hurt, for real this time. I've seen what he's done to multiple girls in the past." Aj replied.

"Yeah, and stay close to us at lunch. I don't think Delilah the Devil would dare come to the stoner table," Dodo added, with a snort.

Aj laughed. "Yeah, last time she came to our table, Dodo here dumped a whole vial of blue glitter in her bag!" Aj proclaimed with joy, as if it was a great memory. Dodo also cracked up. The scared anticipation for lunch almost faded as she listened to the story.

"Ladies and gentlemen may I have your attention please?! NOW!"

Adrianna's stomach fell to her feet. So she really is going to embarrass me, She thought, and immediately sunk two inches in her chair.

Delilah stood on top of the empty table in the middle of the cafeteria. No one wanted to sit there because it was right next to the garbage can. Her pink mini skirt was matched with a pink long sleeved blouse, and she had on the strappy heels with... A hammer? Oh, Adrianna thought, I'm definitely going to die.

"Well, I've called your attention today because, well we have a murderer on our hands!" Many people gasped, and Aj threw Adrianna a look that said you have got to be kidding me.

"Yes yes, I know shocking. But, my fellow pupils, This murderer does not end lives, she ends.... RELATIONSHIPS!"

Delilah's clique all gave Adrianna the stink eye at that moment. Dodo stuck out her tongue.

"Her name will be revealed in a moment. But until then, a few of my friends from the football team have a skit for you." she gave an evil glance to Adrianna. Suddenly, one of the football jocks walked in with a curly black wig on and shorts, and a crop top with combat boots. It was the exact outfit she had worn on her first day at North Shore. Everyone burst into laughter at how ridiculous he looked but Adrianna felt her cheeks get hot.

"Oh, I'm new here at North Shore, and I look like a retarded monkey on crack! Ohh look a cute boy! Maybe if I give him a blow job he'll make me popular!"

He cooed the words in a high pitched mock girl voice. Oohhh's and laughter echoed throughout the lunchroom. Adrianna was about to get up to leave, but a tall figure blocked her path. It was another guy from the football team, Lewis. "Not so fast! Just enjoy the show," he laughed.

Just then, a boy walked in, and this boy was none other than Leo.

"Hey, you know I already have a girlfriend right?" Leo said, straining his words. Adrianna was absolutely horrified. Her nightmares were alive and happening before her eyes. And Leo was apart of it.

"I know, I know, but just give me a chance--"

Suddenly, one of the girls from Delilah's clique, Angela took a plastic sword and faked cutting off the boy acting as Adrianna's head off. He quickly put his shirt over his head to make his self seem headless, and a watermelon with an identical wig and makeup was rolled on the ground. Kids went wild with laughter, and Leo picked up the "head" and set it on the table in front of Delilah. She swiftly brought the hammer up above her head, and it connected full force with Adrianna's fake head, causing the watermelon to splatter into a hundred pieces. The crowd applauded as if she had slayed a dragon.

"Now. To reveal the REAL relationship murderer! A-"

"TAMPON! A USED TAMPON!"

The shout came from Dodo, who had stood up and was pointing at a small item near Delilah's foot. She wasn't lying either. It was a clearly used tampon, and the string was strewn across Delilah's foot.

"GAHHHH!" Delilah let out a disgusted scream as she took two dramatic jumps back.... And off the table.

She landed in a noisy heap with the garbage cans, and a gasp came across the lunchroom. Then Dodo let out a loud delighted cackle, and it started a domino effect of laughter. Leo and Adrianna were the only ones not cracking up, and Adrianna flipped him off one good time before leaving the crazy cafeteria.
