Okay.... So here's my awkward apology/excuse...
So basically I haven't had any time for anything. I'm failing English (and passing French I might add), and I've also had a lot of testing and projects. So, I can't promise any strict uploading schedule. Sorry!
Plus, I use my phone to write, and y'all have NO IDEA how frustrating it is! Whole parts of my stories that I work hard on get deleted, and it just makes me want to give up sometimes.
But, you guys have been super awesome and supportive of this book, so I'll try my best to upload regularly!! Enjoy....

Adrianna had to admit: She felt better than she had in a long time. Her father had gotten her a lawyer, and today, she was gonna march right into school and smile right in that she-devil Delilah's face.
What could go wrong?
It was a pretty rainy day, so Adrianna threw on a striped tee shirt that was almost a crop top, her black skater skirt, and her black and white striped rain boots. She also put her hair in ponytail, put on her studs, and grabbed her bag and umbrella.
As Adrianna walked down the stairs, she heard a familiar voice. It wasn't Rosa, Arturo, or her Dad, so who would be at her house this early in the morning?
As soon as she saw the person sitting at the table, she almost had a heart attack.
"Hello, Adrianna."
"Uhh..hi mom."
Her mother, Elle, wore a pressed pants suit, with her kinky curly hair in a tight bun. Her dark brown skin and tall height gave her a very elegant and sophisticated look. She was a very pretty woman.
But she was viscous. The reason Her and Adrianna's dad divorced was because she was a cold woman. She seemed to show no emotion, and was only concerned as her job as a prosecutor. She didn't even fight for custody of her children, her only priority was work.
Adrianna stood there awkwardly, being looked over by her judging mother.
"Where are your glasses?"
"Down the toilet."
"Rosa?"
"Yeah."
Speak of the devil, Rosa came bouncing down the stairs, in a seemingly perfect mood, just like Adrianna had. And she also stopped cold.
"Dad?" Rosa growled, ignoring their mother.
"Rosa," Their father warned. It was like they had a complete communication system with just single words.
"You haven't changed a bit Rosa," Elle murmured. Rosa just scoffed, looking now in a bad mood.
Next down the stairs came Arturo, already looking to be in a bad mood, and when he saw Elle, he just looked up at the sky and whispered,"Why today God? Why today?"
"I assume your father let you all buy these horrible clothes," Elle said when they were all seated awkwardly at the table for breakfast. Rosa just took a forceful bite of her toast and glared evily at their mother.
She had been the worst on Rosa, back when they all lived together. She never did hit them, but the verbal abuse was horrible.
"What's she doing here, Dad?" Arturo said, ignoring Elle. Mr. Vicari looked uncomfortable as everyone looked over to him for the answer.
"Go ahead, Bruno. Tell your children why I'm here," Elle sneered. Adrianna winced at the way she said your children, instead of our.
Their Dad cleared his throat then started. "Uh, you guy's mother will be representing Adrianna in court."
Adrianna almost spit out the Orange juice she was drinking.
"But daddy, I thought you were gonna find me a California lawyer. Mom is a Florida prosecutor," Adrianna argued, trying to find a hole in his logic.
"Turns out its legal for your mother to represent you. And I really want the best for you Adrianna. And Elle is the best," her Dad sighed. Elle beamed triumphantly.
Arturo shook his head. "When was the last time you called Mom? When was the last time you even gave any of us a hug and said 'I love you?' Oh that's right, you never have. And now, the only reason you've taken even the slightest interest in one of us is because it involves your stupid job!" He then grabbed his bag and stormed out the door, despite the rain.
For a split second, Elle looked as if she was hurt, then as quickly as it came, it disappeared, replaced with a loud laugh.
Rosa stood up then. "This is funny? You're sick, and even if you do win this thing for Adri, you'll never be any mother to me." Then she took her umbrella and went after Arturo.
Elle continued to laugh, as if it was all just a game. Adrianna had had enough. She needed to get out of this house. "Daddy can you take us to school now?" She mumbled, avoiding eye contact with her mother. Mr. Vicari, obviously glad to be done with this catastrophe of a breakfast, grabbed his keys and stood up, eyeing Elle, probably thinking:
Why the hell did I ever marry this woman?
