(Skye Bliss)
Hours before Hugh came back......I fought against the Pack, but as a glorified human, I was no match for their strength, especially on a full moon. Two had already shifted into massive wolves, but the other five were still in human form. "Let me go," I demanded, but they just shoved me into the chair by my computer system. When they turned away, I tapped on my computer keyboard, "Help me", hoping Hugh would be true to his word and come back. But I really didn't trust his kind, they had a habit of killing people when they shifted. Werewolves and he was one of them, so who knew if he would come back for me, but he had seemed different from the rest of them. I clicked the screen off just as the Alpha walked slowly towards me.
"Tell me," the Alpha paused, his salt and pepper hair shining with gel. "Where is your sister Tallica? We have a debt to settle with her."
I rolled my eyes, "Of course, it's Tallica that they want."
"Where is she?" Alpha asked, his plain eyes glowed.
"Have you met her?" I rolled my emerald eyes again. "Half the time I don't know where she is, and she's my sister. Even if I did know where she happened to be, I wouldn't tell you because if you haven't noticed, we're at war with you!"
He seized my jaw as my hand gripped the hilt of my silver dagger. Before he said anything, I gave a yell and plunged my silver dagger into his thigh. He growled in frustration, calmly pulling the silver dagger out as I jumped from my seat and bolted for the door. But I was grabbed around the waist. I screamed, bit, and cussed them out, but they weren't phased in the least.
"Take her with us. She could be used as leverage. If I know anything about Tallica Bliss, she will do anything to protect her sisters," the Alpha ordered, leading us out of the room.
I struggled against them, thinking, "Oh, Tallica, what did you get yourself into?"
(Tallica Bliss)
"Why aren't you answering your phone, Skye?" I growled unhappily as I jumped into my car and drove to her house. She didn't know it, but I actually lived fairly close to her. Let's just say, I made it a point to make sure that my sisters know nothing of where I live. I parked a block away, and quickly, but discreetly, walked to her house. I found her door, busted open with claw marks in the walls, leading to her bedroom. I opened her door by the handle; it fell off into my hands. I walked into her bedroom, one hand over my mouth in shock at the mess. I looked around my sister's room as my gaze landed on her computers. I found my two-colored eyes staring into a young man's familiar brown ones in the reflection of the computer screens. I didn't think...I ran. He called after me, but by the time he exited the house I had already reached my car down the block. What can I say? I was always good in track. I roared onto the road, heading for Montana, which was a long drive from where I lived. I slammed my hands onto my steering wheel.
"What am I going to do? What if he recognizes me? What if he finds out that I was the one who saved the girl in that warehouse that held the tortured werewolves?" I talked to myself in a panic, running my hands through my bleach-blonde hair. "Oh My God, what if he tells someone, who tells Arabella? She will kill me if she finds out that I helped werewolves. She will kill me if she finds out that I used the gift in the first place! After all, I did tell her that the gift faded away."
Ever since the bounty had been put on Foresters, like a thousand years ago, my sister's panicked when I began to show that the gene had passed to me. Arabella and Skye made sure that I never used my gifts outside of the kingdom. Yea, I live in a kingdom. Kallica Kingdom, that is where I was raised and trained to be a Hunter or Huntress. Hunters are very rare anymore, most of the Hunters are actually women. So, Huntress is the correct term. It was clear that werewolves had taken her, but which ones? I frown, oh I know who took her, obviously to get back at me for saying that I know how to stop werewolves from changing. The strongest pack in the entire world, Ares Pack. Yes, they named their pack after the Greek god for war, I rolled my eyes thinking about it. I stopped the car abruptly, Milo would know who had taken her for sure, I'll go see him first. But I don't think he will be very happy to see me.
(Arabella)
I called both Skye and Tallica's phone. Neither answered. The red flags went up in my head. Something was wrong, but I can't go to them when I have a kingdom to rule, and we can't spare anyone to hunt them down. "Whatever they are involved in...it better not have to do with werewolves," I shook my head, as my head counselor entered the war room.
