Chapter 4:
Noah
Back in school today. I'm so happy this is my last year, then I can finally leave this hell hole. Of course all the girls are going to crawl on me today. All those girls who willingly open their legs for me. I park my dark blue BMW in the senior parking at the L.A. county high school for the arts. My third year going to this ridiculous school. I should've transferred.
"Hey, Cole my man what's up?" I greet my douchy best friend with a fist pump. He has his black hair slicked back like always and his hazel eyes are surrounded by red. "Hey man are you high already" I start laughing at him. "Shut up!" Cole's attention moves from me to the sound of a motor. "Hey Noah. Who's the dude with the motorcycle?" I turn to where Cole is pointing. Some dude just parked his motorcycle in the senior parking. Just then the dude takes off his helmet, revealing beautiful red hair cascading down to her mid-back. Definitely not a dude. "She's hot! Hey Noah, you know you're gonna be getting some of that." I smile at Cole, but I don't really know what he's saying. I was still mesmerized by her beauty. As she walked by us and onto campus, I noticed her left palm had stitches. This was the same chick I bumped into at the hospital. "Hey man if you luck out, I'll give it a try." Cole is being an ass right now and I want to punch him in the gut. Instead I smile and agree.
Rosie
I look down at the piece of paper that has my schedule on it. 1st period: English. 2nd period: Calculus. Lunch. 3rd period: Economics. 4th period: dance and the history of dance
Great so now I have to walk to the English building. I make it inside the class just as the bell rings. I find a seat towards the back of the classroom. I sit there and stay silent. A girl in the seat next to me keeps staring at me, making me feel uncomfortable. I slowly turn to look at her. She has dark brown hair reaching a little over her shoulders and emerald green eyes. She smiles at me, revealing straight teeth and dimples.
Class ended in an hour. I walked out hoping I can reach my class sooner. A warm hand taps my shoulder. I turn around quickly. The girl who stared at me in class is now in front of me. She's shorter than me, maybe five foot four. "Hi! I'm Amelia. Are you new here?" I nod. "Here I'll help you find your next class." she takes the paper from my hands. "Omg we have the same schedule! Well except for 4th period. So, what's your name?"
"Rosie. I recently moved here for my senior year." Amelia smiles, "well Rosie I have this thing where I can tell who's going to be my friend. Call it a sixth sense." I smile back as we walk to class. She seems like such a nice person. Who knows, maybe we'll end up as best friends.
The first day was a blur, Amelia stayed with me up until 4th period. When 4th period came, I was happy to spend the last three hours of school in a music related class.
Noah
"I've got to head to class but uhh...we'll talk later." I wink as I walk away from Ashley. I walk into class right when the bell rings as usual. Red hair catches my attention, then the empty seat in front of her. I automatically make my way to that seat. The teacher came in and explained about what we were going to do in this class. As always, I don't pay attention. "And at the end, you must perform a duet with the person I pair you up with. You may pick the song but I will pick the genre." Now this catches my attention. "I will pick your partners today along with the genre."
