Chapter 18:
Rosie
One month. That's really all I have left. One month before I have to perform this dance routine with Noah. One month until I graduate. Then I go to college. I've been accepted to UCLA, so I don't really have to leave. But, I've also been accepted to East Bay which means I can move back. Back home.
Noah wraps his arms around my waist and I wrap my arms around his neck just as the song slowly ends. Once it does, I break our embrace. I smile at him as he smiles back. "We did it. We finally finished!"
"Yeah we did." I go to unplug my phone from the speakers. "Hey umm do you have any plans after this?"
"No. None at all why?" Noah smirks at me. "Well I was thinking we could have that first date redo." I raise my eyebrows, "right now?" He shrugs. "Sure why not? Now come on, let's go!"
"Where?" He grins at me. "It's a surprise." We walk out the studio and Noah opens his door for me. "What about my bike?" Noah turns to look at my motorcycle. "It'll be fine. We'll come back for it later." I agree and get in. Noah gives me a quick peck on the cheek as he starts the car and starts driving.
About half an hour later we arrive. Lights are everywhere, it may start feeling like summer but the lights show that it still gets dark quick. The sun is barely setting, creating beautiful colors of red, pink, and orange to fill the sky. The first thing I see after Noah pays for our tickets and we walk in is the Ferris wheel. Yes we're at a fair. "I first found out about these random fair appearances when I first moved here." Noah puts his arm around me as we walk around.
Noah bought me cotton candy, won me a teddy, and made my night. "You wanna go on the Ferris wheel?" I stuff down the last piece of the cotton candy. "I don't th-" he grabs my arm and starts dragging me towards the Ferris wheel. "Oh come on!"
Noah ended up forcing me to go on it. To say that I have a terrible fear of heights would be an understatement. And to my displeasure, the freaking ride was "experiencing a technical difficulty" while we were at the highest you could be. Okay Rosie, take deep breathes. Noah looked at me like I was crazy before asking what was wrong. "Did you ever know I have a terrible fear of heights!" And then I started hyperventilating. Noah wraps his arms around me. "Hey don't worry Rosie. I got you, nothing bad will happen." Noah keeps his grasp strong and starts slowly rocking me back and forth until my breathing goes back to normal. And like a freaking miracle, the ride starts up again.

"Thank you for a wonderful time at the fair." Noah's eyes twinkle, "anytime." I go on my tippy toes to give Noah a quick kiss which suddenly turns into a heated make out session. I pull away with a slight blush on my cheeks. Noah smirks and I go on my motorcycle driving away from his truck.
Noah
I get home to a familiar silence. I guess mom's working late at the hospital again. I walk into the living room and freeze entirely. "What the fuck are you doing here?" Cole turns to see me with a smirk plastered on his face. "Your mom let me in. Saying how you were rehearsing with Rosie and you'd be home soon." His smile widens. "Speaking of which, what's with you and that Rosie chick?"
"She's not some chick Cole. Stop fucking talking about her like she's some object." Cole clutches his chest and playfully acts shocked. "Has Noah gone...soft? What happened to the bang them and dump them?"
I clench my hands into fists. "Shut up Cole! You don't want to make me angry." Cole just laughs. "Relax I'm not here to trash on your "girlfriend" I'm here to talk to you. We haven't hung out in a while." He places and arm on my back and he slaps it and walks me to the door. "How about sometime in the next month we have our bro time. And I mean it, bros before hoes right?"
I grunt. "Whatever man. If agreeing means you'll get the hell out of my house then yeah sure." Cole grins "great. See you later bro!" I slam the door shut the second Cole gets out. To think he was my best friend.
