Chapter 17:
Noah
"So I think we should redo our first date." Rosie turns to face me, "I'm listening." I grin at her. "Well how about tomorrow night? I'll pick you up at seven and before you ask, it's a surprise."
"Tomorrow night? I'll need a rain check for that first date redo. Amelia wants me to go laser tagging with her." She lays her head on my shoulder. "She said it's a girls night out but I don't think she would mind if you tagged along. Do you want to go with me?"
"And beat you at laser tag? Why wouldn't I want to go?"
"Ha! In your dreams."
Rosie
"So I know you said it was a girls night out but..."
"You invited Noah didn't you?" I try my best innocent looking smile, "maybe." Amelia sighs. "That's fine. But now I get to invite a guy of my choice too."
I smirk. "And who will the lucky guy be?" Amelia laughs at me. "That my dear is a surprise you won't find out until we meet at the place." I groan, "oh fine!"

"I am so sorry Rosie. But you have to believe me-"
"You cheated on me Noah?" I spat. "I honestly thought you wouldn't hurt me!" I scoff, "clearly I was fool."
"Rosie wait!" I run away from Noah. Tears rolling down my cheeks fast. I sob and scream and feel my heart tearing into tons of pieces.
I gasp as I jolt myself awake. I wipe at my eyes, wiping away the tears. I turn to look at the clock, 4:06. Talk about a bad dream. I groan as I let my head rest on my pillow. There's no way I'll fall back asleep. I take my headphones and plug it into my phone, listening to music. I slowly drift to sleep and the next thing you know, my alarm blares making me aware that I have to get up and get ready for school.

"Bye mom I'm going now!" My mom raises an eyebrow, "where and with who?" I roll my eyes. Okay so mom hasn't exactly liked the fact that Noah's back and in my life. "I'm going laser tagging with Amelia, Noah, and some mysterious boy Amelia invited. And before you ask I'm driving by myself there and I'll be back right after." My mom nods in agreement before I make my way out the door and onto my motorcycle.
I find Amelia waiting outside with her mysterious boy and I rush to her. "Hey girl!" Amelia turns to my voice and smiles, "hey! We're just waiting up on Noah so we can go in." As soon as Amelia said that, I heard Noah's truck and watched him park next to my bike. "Alright. Let's get this show on the road." The familiar male voice muttered. I turn to look around Amelia and there he stood. Aaron started to walk in once Noah stood by my side. I glared daggers at Amelia. She gave me a guilty smile before the three of us walked in.
"So...teams? How about..."
"Boys vs girls!" I blurted out. Glancing at Noah I gave him a challenging smirk. "Ok!" Amelia immediately agreed. Going into the area and placing our gear on I heard a voice. "Game on Rose." Oh it is definitely on Noah!
So let's just say I was an amazing pro at laser tag and I was killing it! Out of nowhere a hand reached out and grabbed me by the waist. I ran into a rock hard body and I squealed. "I've got you now." Noah's deep and husky voice whispered in my ear. He was so close. Out of nowhere Noah's lips met mine for a sweet kiss. We stood there dumbfounded for a while. Then I heard my gun make a weird noise, someone shot me. I grumbled for the noise ruining the moment. I turned around and locked eyes with Aaron, so much for no hard feelings. He clearly saw our kiss. Luckily, Amelia saw Aaron and well she shot him. I smiled at her, she's such a great friend.
Noah let his hand drop to his side after the ruined moment. "Hey Noah." I caught his attention as I heard my gun restart. Come on Noah, take the bait. "Yeah?" He inched closer. And just when he probably thought this was another moment, I shot him. Shock took hold in his eyes. I started laughing as Noah playfully acted angry. "Rosalinda get over here." Uh oh. He used my full name. I started giggling while running away. "Come and get me Noah!"
In the end girls won obviously. Noah never got to get me back but by the mischievous look in his twinkling eyes, I knew he'd get his revenge. The day was well spent with my best friend, boyfriend, and the guy who kept staring at me clearly not over the fact that I was dating the 'douchey' Noah.
