Chapter 15:
Noah
Oh shit. I fucked up. I really fucked up this time. As if I didn't do bad enough when Rosie saw me with Cole and that slut. I'm going to make this better, I have to. If I don't, Rosie may never want to talk to me ever again. I pace back and forth. What can I do to make it up to her? Just then, it hits me. I grab my phone, wallet, and keys. I write a note to my mom, just in case she gets home before me. What I'm going to do will take time and patience. I just hope it's enough for Rosie.
Rosie
As if I didn't hate Noah already, he just made me hate him more. Now I understand why mom always moved us. But I still don't trust her. I thought about asking mom if we could move again, but I know that would just hurt Lewis. "Hey little rascal!" I pat Lewis's head. "Hi Rosie, wanna play?" I nod as he hands me a race car.
We play all night long until mom comes in. "Alright Lewis, time for bed." Lewis groans as we both stand up. "Do I have to momma?" I join in, "yeah. Do we?" My mom gave us a stern look, "yes." She walks into her room. Lewis didn't want to go to bed because he still wanted to play. But me, I didn't want to sleep tonight knowing I have to go to school tomorrow and face Noah. I tuck Lewis in, kiss him on the forehead, and say goodnight. I change into my pjs, black spandex and a sweatshirt.
I lay in bed ready to sleep. Great, I wonder what's in store for me tomorrow. Another fight with Noah? Or maybe he'll just ignore me completely.

Getting to school, I expected to be greeted by Noah. I was slightly disappointed when I didn't see him the moment I walked onto campus. There's still about six minutes until school starts but I decided to walk over to first period. Waiting there all alone, I wondered about Noah. Where is he? Just then someone taps my shoulder and I gasp as I turn around.
A dozen roses greet me, hiding the person's face. But I already know who it is because of the white roses. I smile. "Sorry I only got you a dozen roses instead of one to count every single day I've been with you." Just like when we were little. Noah gives me the roses and as I look into them, I realize there are tokens in there. Arcade token, because I love arcades.
The tokens are hidden in the rose pedals and tied around the stems. This is truly beautiful. Noah takes out something from his pocket and gives it to me. A necklace with an ocean blue rhinestone on it. It's as blue as Noah's eyes. I look at him in amazement and shock at all he did. "For my one and only Rose. I'm sorry about everything. The past, the present, all of it." He hesitates then says, "remember that day when you saw me sitting with Cole and his err...friend? And you told me we weren't dating so it didn't matter that She was there?" I nod, remembering the pain I felt that day.
"Rosalinda Holloway, I want to date you. I want to be the one to make you laugh and smile. The one to be there for you always. I spend every second thinking about you. Please go out with me Rosie."
I hesitate, for a short while. Do I want to date Noah? Can I trust him with my heart again? That's when I notice the dark circles under his eyes. Oh my gosh, how long did he stay up doing this for me? "Please? Just give me one shot. If-if I mess up, then you can leave and I'll never bother you again."
"Yes Noah, I'll go out with you." He lights up immediately, "w-what?" I laugh, "I'll go out with you!" Noah hugs me tight and lifts me up just a little before I scream and laugh at the sudden lift.
Noah
I drove for about four hours looking for what I needed and paying however much I needed to make Rosie's gift. I didn't get home until 10:30 and when I did, I locked myself up in my room. Placing the tokens in the rose pedals and tying them onto the stems was the easy part. Creating the necklace using my bare hands and tools was the one that took forever. By around two, I finished the necklace. The blue stone is real, but she doesn't need to know that.
I had dark circles under my eyes but it didn't matter, as long as Rosie saw what I did. Being with Rosie that morning also made me late for class and I got detention. But I didn't care. It was all worth it. Now my Rosie was exactly that, mine.
A/N:
Okay so I am extremely sorry for making you wait soooo long. It's been pretty busy for me. Doing summer homework, planning a family vacation, etc. So...I won't be posting for a while maybe but I really hope this chapter was worth the wait. Thanks for being so patient...teaser for next chapter: Rosie and Noah go on their first date together and it doesn't quite go as expected for Rosie. And what about her mom(hint hint)?
