Chapter 18: The ZT Round 4! Part 2

Suké and Minou both appeared on the roof, however unlike last tine, this time they both landed on their feet. "Now it is your turn to fight today. This winner will fight Azorath on the final match tomorrow." Erwin told them, as the floating platform he was on went in front of them. But before Erwin could continue, Minou interrupted her"Now wait a minute. I thought we were going to have traps and stuff during the match?" Erwin slowly and slightly nodded his head before replying "Yes you are, but that is for the final round only." Minou stopped and looked at Suké. "Ok. I'm ready." She replied. Suké looked back, with their eyes meeting. "Me too." She said. "Alright let's get this show on!" Erwin announced as the bell rang.

"Owwwwww" Azorath and Itatsu said as they were on the floor, with Ochi Konda standing over them. "C'mon you bums, you gotta get up." He said as he put both hands up to help the two fallen warriors. They each took a hand and got up properly. "Hey Azorath, why are we here anyway?" Itatsu asked as he rubbed the back of his head. Azorath slightly smirked. "Cause I didn't wanna be alone in the blimp, so who better to have with me other than friends?" Azorath replied. "Haha I think we can all agree we are more than friends. We are rivals as well!" Itatsu spoke out as he stood tall and proud. The three laughed together as they watched the match go on.

With the match under away, both Suké and Minou ran forward. Suké created a sheet of ice beneath her, and slid forward on top of it as if she was a hockey player, sliding on her skates. When the ice was being created, it made a type of weird hissing sound. However, Minou had already leapt up into the air, over her opponent. She landed on the other side of her original location, and Suké stopped sliding with the same alteration. They turned around and stared back at each other. "Let's try this!" Minou yelled out as she created a ball of light. She shot it forward towards Suké, but Suké caught the ball, as if it were a toy. She grinned and mumbled under her breath, which was loud enough for only Minou to hear. "Alright, you wanna play some b-ball? Then let's play." Suké dribbled the ball on the floor a few times, before running forward at Minou while dribbling it. Minou scoffed. "This is just a game to you huh?" She said as she ran forward in return. The two ran up close to eachother. Suké jumped up, holding the ball of light in the air, while Minou held her ground, creating another ball of light to block the first one. While the two balls of energy and light collided, they created a burst of an energy blast that blew throughout the rooftop arena. Everything in the air was knocked back a little such as the blimp, cameras, and even Erwin's platform. There was nothing but smoke to see in the area. The same hissing-like noise was heard within the smoke, along with a few grunts from both competitors. A small icicle rose up from the smoke, but slowly it began to get bigger, and look more like a ramp. Not long after, Suké was sliding up the ice ramp, as if she was a skateboarder, however Minou was nowhere to be seen. As Suké rode more ice across the arena, and higher up, which she was making slightly before she was able to ride on it, there were balls of light energy shooting up from the thick smoke at her. However Suké had no trouble dodging them at first, but eventually she had more and more trouble, as there were more and more projectiles. Suddenly, one of the projectiles hit the ice platform, just as Suké was creating it, which caused her to fall forward, off her ice platform. As she fell, Minou leapt from the smoke, holding another energy ball in her hand. Suké realized her position, and wrapped her hands in ice, to counter Minou's attack with an axe handle smash.When the two power moves collided, shards of sparkling ice flew everywhere across the arena. Both Minou and Suké landed on the floor, then they continued with Minou shooting another ball of light, however Suké rose a wall of ice upwards, to which block the attack. Minou shot out more, but Suké blocked them all. The stage had become a mess, filled with broken shards, pillars, and ramps of ice. Sparkling little snowflakes slowly fell on the ground from all the light and ice attacks meeting and colliding. Next, they immediately ran forward to a flurry of attacks, with incredible speed. Each attack matching the other perfectly.

"Wow!" Azorath called out. "I didn't know Minou was such a good fighter without her weapons!" Itatsu chuckled a bit. "Impressive indeed, but nothing compared to me, the Malicious Mail Man!" He said as he struck a ridiculous pose. Azorath's eyes gleemed. "Whoa! Such determination! Such elegance!" Azorath said to himself. "Oh brother....." Ochi said, instead of being impressed.

Eventually, both competitors got worn out and tired and standing there, breathing deeply trying to catch their breath. "Heh....heh...." Minou said "You're not bad.....go.....ahead and give up now....while you have the chance..." Suké answered back "Heh.....I never give up....but....my body might." Then she fell on the floor (errrr....roof? Roof's floor?), unable to move. Erwin arrived down on his floating platform. "Aaaaaand the winner is Minou!" He announced. "Now will both finalists please come to me tomorrow! Those remaining who want to watch stay tuned and make sure to come back!" He continued as he snapped his fingers, making Ochi, Itatsu, Azorath, Minou, and Suké appear back inside. Everyone cheered for them, as today's matches won the hearts of many.

Over at Azorath's and Minou's house, they stayed relaxed as they watched tv together. "Man....I never knew you were such a good fighter." Azorath said, never looking away from the tv. Minou turned to him. "What you thought I'm just some princess who needed to be saved?" She asked sternly. Azorath looked away and returned the gaze. "What? No. I just didn't know you were THAT fast. And you never told me you could create light energy! That's so cool!" Azorath replied excitedly, with a big grin on hid face. Minou chuckled, and turned back to the tv. "Ok ok. I'm sorry. Why are you so excited? You have never seen a tv before?" She asked another question as Azorath shook his head. "Nope. All we had at the orphanage were books. I did however read a bunch of manuals for tvs like this one, since I started to run out of stuff to read." He answered as he flipped through the various channels. They spent their night with fun tv watching, ignoring the fact that tomorrow would be their match. It would be the night to decide the winner of the tournament. However, some people did not have such a relaxed night.....

Suké recovered from her exhaustion, and began to walk out, until a hand grabbed her arm, which caused her to stop. "Suké....wait." The voice from the shadows said. "I have an offer for you.....an offer you cannot refuse." Suké turned and looked over her shoulder. "An offer you say? Well normally I would hit you, but you seem trustworthy enough." She replied to the shadowy figure. "I'm interested. Let's talk."

Hey everyone! I am so SO sorry that this came so late, not to mention its a shorter one. But I have had some family\business things to do, do I haven't had the time. Not to mention, I have been creating new covers like the ones for my profile, and the one for this story. While this one was easy, some of the other ones were not. Also I may be writing a new story soon, which I will make while I make this one. The chapters will be shorter, and the story will be somewhere else, so stay tuned and make sure to check the updates!
