"Well you're odd, aren't you?" Azorath said, as he reluctantly walked to his side of the arena. Ochi Konda looked down, and didn't say a word. "Not much of a talker huh? Well I hope this match doesn't get to bo-" Azorath said before he was interupted, the world has changed around him. Everything was warping away, into darkness. Nothing was left, but an octagon, in the distance. Next thing Azorath knew, he was on the octagon. It was his platform, to stand on. He stood at a corner, doomed to see the rest of it in front of him, empty. With nothing to stare at. With nobody to see. Until a figure appeared and stood in front of him. Ochi Konda, covered in a black robe and cloak, hunched over and facing Azorath directly. He stood at another corner, staring at Azorath. Saying no words, speaking nothing. For solid minutes they fought nature's most powerful weapon, awkwardness.
"Well this is the most fierce staring contest I'VE ever been in, but I can finally see you're a champ." Azorath said, finally breaking the silence. "So, what's your secret? Is that your magic ability? To stare at people creepily after you've taken their world away, and placed them on a strange octagon?" He added, sarcastically and sassily. Ochi Konda took a moment before speaking. "You do not know about me, nor this world I've created." He finally said. "Worry not, for we are only in a time pause. In the outside world, our normal world, time has not yet passed." He followed with. "Well that's nifty, I suppose." Azorath replied. "So bring me back and let's have a fair fight." Ochi Konda threw his cloak back, revealing his jet black hair. He raised his eyebrow in question and asked. "Fair fight? Care to add to that?" Azorath smirked and answered with "Oh don't think I don't know. This is YOUR world, which means YOU can do whatever YOU want. It's basically a dream and I'm the guest. Now take me back before I report you for cheating." Ochi was astonished by this, and just had to ask. "Cheating? How am I cheating? I'm not using a weapon I'm using magic, which I believe is legal considering on the entry form it promotes it." Azorath chuckled, and told Ochi, "Ah see, you're right. That's true. Magic is allowed. But if you read it all the way, you would know that it is NOT allowed to attack someone out of the arena. And this is your 'own world'." He used air quotes on 'your world'. "Not the arena. It said Erwin would know somehow, I can only assume some kind of truth magic or something." He continued. Ochi looked down again and told Azorath as he walked forward "You do not want to fight me. I will end up killing you. Like I have the rest." Azorath walked forward to match Ochi. "Well I have a few moves of my own. Some are a work in progress. But with one of them I can kill you instantly. All I have to do is his a vital organ, and I know where they're all at." They continued to walk forward to eachother, until they met in the middle. They stared eachother in the eyes, Azorath being slightly taller than Ochi Konda. "There is so much going on in your mind. I can tell." Ochi said, looking at Azorath greedily. "I wonder what is in there....I have to find out!" He continued as he put his hand on the top of Azorath's head. Azorath slightly jumped in surprise, and attempted to take his hand away. A grey aura surrounded his hand, as Azorath struggled to get the hand off. "Yes....I can see....I ca- AH." Ochi said before jumping away from Azorath. "Wh...what was that?!" He asked "You aren't alone!? What was that power?!" Azorath looked confused for a second, then gasped in remembrance. "Oh! You mean my 'other self' huh?" Azorath laughed at his humor for a moment. "Oh. I should explain who it is. Well you see he was forced into my mind and body and etcetera by some soldier, I don't even know who by the way, well anyway, it was the only way to stop him so the soldier had to do it I guess." He told Ochi, standing there as if that seemed normal, which to him, it was. Ochi looked at him as if he was a crazy person, finally he asked "Who is this person anyway?" Azorath smirked somewhat evily, removing every happy vibe from him. "The person inside of my brain, and my soul, is the monster who attacked Oxeous all those years ago." Ochi stood for a moment, thinking of who did it. Until a shriek of terror appeared on his face. "The god of storms!?" He asked. "N..no way! That's not possible!" Azorath chuckled to himself. "Oh it's possible." He told Ochi, even though Azorath had no way of knowing how to use the god' s power, but he knew making a bluff was the best thing in this situation. "And I'm your opponent, maybe you should give up now if you're so scared." Ochi stood for a second in horror, until he threw his arm forward. "No.....but that means I can't let you live. Prepare to fight, and prepare to die!" He said as he waved his arm to the side, which threw the empty world apart. It started to break like glass, and soon it became the real world. In an instant, like instinct had taken over, the two got in fighting stances.
