Azorath had never expected this, Thomas Oleson was who he had to fight, which was Grimmock's son. He was the toughest and oldest kid here, and got special treatments for obvious reasons. Everyone hated him, but some would pretend to be his friend so that they would be spared the punches Thomas would give just for being looked at.

"I will thoroughly enjoy smashing you" Thomas spoke with an evil glee. "After all, you're the one to blame for all these kids being here. You are the one who took their homes and families and you're the one to blame for me being here. I had to move into this dump because my house was wrecked by the stupid God you have. You even killed your own parents. What a worthless kid." The crowd was silent, but then slowly began to yell at Azorath. Azorath started to tear up and he hung his head low and replied "Sh...shut up! Shut your mouth and fight me!" Azorath ran and swung at Thomas, but he was dodged so easily that the crowd laughed at him. "If that is all you have, then this should be to easy." Thomas said with a mocking tone. Then, Thomas kicked Azorath in the ribcage, knocking him back and knocking the wind out of him as he went down trying to catch his breath. "See what i mean you stupid kid? You are nothing to me. I bet you can't even use magic."Thomas started to walk towards Azorath, hoping to finish this. Finally catching his breath, Azorath spoke back "I...I'll show you....I'll show you all!" In a single moment Azorath had jumped up, fist first, into the jaw of Thomas. Azorath then proceeded to punching him repeatedly anywhere he could in the torso, but with seemingly little effect.

As the fight went on, the two have continued to hurt eachother punch after punch, kick after kick. Thomas was obviously winning, but Azorath would not give up so easily. The fighters jumped back from eachother, both catching their breath, Azorath more than Thomas. "Look at you" Thomas laughingly said "You're so worn out, might as well die now and save me the time." Azorath began to grin, he then started to laugh out loud. He had the whole place confused by this, but Azorath knew what he was doing as he spoke "I have one trick left. And it is surely a good one." Thomas, being scared at first, quickly began to mock him. "Oh you think you have anything that will be useful? Go ahead and try. I will stand right here." The crowd agreed with Thomas and laughed.

Azorath spread his arms apart, and he slowly began to put them together until they were directly in front of him. With his right hand he made the shape of a gun, a pistol. With his left he held his right hand, like he was trying to keep it steady. "I hope you're ready." Azorath spoke not only to Thomas but to the crowd "BLITZ GUN!" A small bolt of lightning shot from the tip of Azorath's finger, which was pointed straight at Thomas. The crowd was in awe, nobody this young is able to command magic like this. Normally, magic is found in the person by the time they're eighteen, and Azorath was a few years before that. Thomas said nothing, until the bolt hit him. It pierced him directly in the chest, but hitting no organs or anything of importance. Thomas screamed out in pain, yelling about how he gives up and wants to go. Azorath was the winner, and the crowd cheered, not for Azorath, but because Thomas lost and was leaving. Azorath was proud of his own abilities. He knew he could do it, and now he just planned to go to bed proudly and cheerful. For a moment Azorath felt good. He felt as if he was on top of the world.

Azorath stayed in his room that night, he wasn't hungry. Freddy, however, had spent all day out of his room. "I wonder if Freddy is ok." Azorath said to himself. "He normally is back way before now." Then the door opened as if by command. It was Freddy, but he wasn't alone as Azorath expected. Freddy was with 2 other kids around his age. They talked and laughed in the room, ignoring Azorath. He stayed on his bed in the corner looking down. Finally Azorath decided to try to join in on the conversation. "Haha, yeah tha-" He was almost immediately cut off by one of the boys. "Shut up you dirty homewrecker." Freddy and the other boy laughed and joined in at making fun of Azorath. "Yeah shut up you rat!" and "Jeez can't you just leave?!" It was at this point that Azorath stopped listening. A single tear ran down his face. His closest friend, someone he trusted, had betrayed him. Azorath spoke to them, ignoring their remarks. "Fi-fine....you want me to leave..? Then I'm gone." He got up and walked towards the door, and he left as silence followed him. But Azorath didn't stop there, he continued on out the orphanage, and out of the town itself, until he found himself sitting against a tree in a meadow. Tears ran down his face, all he needed was a friend. Someone to talk to. As if almost a prayer was answered, a voice in an unknown position spoke to him. "What's the matter? Are you okay?"
