"So what you are saying is that Jun is in love with you all along?"

Marco was surprised to realize this as he sat beside Alexine in the bar.

The bar was owned by his brother. Most of the time, he would just hang out in here and chill after classes.

Alexine nodded and then took a sip of her second drink.

"Well, he's not telling us anything about it."

Marco's phone was ringing. It was his girlfriend on the other line.

"Sorry, I gotta take this call. Will you be okay here? Huwag ka magpakalasing, ha."

"Okay lang ako."

Kahit hindi...

When is it okay to say that you are not okay?

Alexine was stirring the straw and staring at her thoughts. She was confused with what was happening.

Jun used to be her childhood puppy love.

But Rainier was the one who pursued her at first sight.

This time, she and Rainier were on a break, and she wasn't sure if he would come back to her. While Jun had made a confession to her.

Alangan naman papatulan niya?

She just did not want to ruin any friendship.

She's broken-hearted right now, at hindi niya alam ang kaniyang gagawin sa pagmo-move on.

Somewhere between the two boys, Alexine felt as though her heart had become a place she could no longer understand.

And perhaps, that was the hardest part.

She still loved Rainier.

But Jun was standing there, quietly offering her a different kind of love.

And she didn't know which one would hurt less.

After High School Graduation

The guys had always been best friends since grade school, except for Jun Zamora, whom they only knew in high school.

They were four different boys who somehow fit together perfectly.

Different families.

Different personalities.

Different dreams.

But together, they had created a friendship that felt almost unbreakable.

They were the kind of boys people noticed whenever they walked into a room.

And at Crescendo High, everyone knew who they were.
