I remember our late night chats
About random cats.
I remember when you asked me to tell you something new,
To make you feel less blue.
I remember our 'Heys' and 'Hi's' that started of our entire conversations.
I remember making sentimental declarations
When I heard more about your not-so-good reputation.
And last of all,
I remember pouring my heart out to you,
And only after you were left
I realized that everything that you ever said,
Was anything but true.
