Disappointment

I would never have even thought that you had been under so much
s t r a i n,

So much  s t r e s s,

So much disappointment,

I should be the last one to complain of that,

Even though I am also experiencing it first-hand.

I am now amazed.

At how when COMPLAINED.

You said nothing; F E I G N E D  misunderstanding.

I am now upset,

At how you said  n o t h i n g,

When I was in need of your aid,

I could've done something I'd regret.

But I get it now,

If you would've uttered even a word,

All your bottled up emotions would come rolling out

And so would the tears.
