I take his note in my hands once more.
"What do you want for you birthday? *wink* " I had written.
"You." He replied. He even went over the letters to make it seem darker.
"Oh, good. I thought I was the only one... You serious though?" I finish off, so I don't see him come up next to me and say,
"Hey, I was joking okay?"
"Y-yeah! Of cause you were!" I rush out and he walks away.
I crumble the note, but not before looking at my unanswered question one last time.
Guess he wasn't.
