I'm okay,
I don't need checking up on.
I'm strong,
I don't need babying.
I'm smart,
I don't need your pity.
I'm lost,
I need your guidance.
I'm confused,
I need your explanations.
I'm careless,
I need you to help me acknowledge the dangers.
I need you to hold me.
I need you to whisper my insecurities away.
I need you to take care of me
- to care for me.
I just need you.
Because I'm not some human who's super.
I'm normal, no, I'm a little below average.
I need the leverage
To speak my mind.
We're all equal, or we were all equal,
