Sonnet poem (Shakespeare created the first sonnet ever.)
Do I Have To Plead?
They say there are many fish in the sea,
But I really love you.
You have taken my heart's key,
And I think I have taken yours, too.
You say that you love me,
But should I believe?
What should we be?
Love is what we could achieve.
Maybe love is what we need,
May we go on a date?
Or do I have to plead?
Let us not be too late.
No matter the weather,
We should be together.

Sorry if I disappointed you by getting the syllables and whatnot wrong. My teacher said that since we were at the time basically amateurs that we don't have to get the syllables and everything else right, as long as it stays 3 quatrains and a couplet. She did tell us every element that Shakespeare used in his sonnets and she said that if we did do that, and got them correct, that it would be extra credit. Therefore, I didn't do it. :3 I didn't need extra credit anyway, I got a 99 (I think) on the whole project! :D
