Sᴋʏᴇ ғᴏʟʟᴏᴡs Bᴇʟʟᴀᴍʏ all the way to the hunk of metal she saw flying through the sky during the night.  When he opens the door, she can hear a static-like voice speaking through a radio.  They were calling for Pod One to answer if they received the message.  Bellamy hesitates as he sees the person hanging from their seat.  Whatever thought that crosses his mind he seems to disregard it and cuts the radio out of the Pod.  He heads to the small lake nearby and Skye just gets to a perfect position to see him toss the radio into the water.

Once Bellamy takes off, Skye runs as fast as she can in the water to where she saw the radio land.  She sees it float past her leg and chases after it.  Her fingers reach for it, but her foot gets caught in some rocks below causing her to fall forward into the water.  Her entire body is submerged in water and it takes her a few seconds to stand back up.  It's the first time since she landed on this planet she's been able to feel the water surround her and float in it.  She takes a moment to bask in the feeling, even untying her braid and dunking her head back under to free her hair.  Finally, she frees her foot from between the two rocks and searches for the radio.

It floated pretty far from where she tripped but it takes less than five minutes to find it.  A lot of water drains out of the radio as she pulls it out of the lake.  She waddles over to the small clearing next to the lake to a large rock where the sun is beating down on.  She places the radio down on it so maybe it'll dry it out, but she didn't know anything about technology so she wasn't sure it would work.  A few fish had been swimming around her feet, and she wanted to take a shot at trying to catch some to take back to camp.

Skye was out there for an hour before anyone came out to look for the radio.  A group of delinquents stood at the edge of the water, staring at her knee deep in the liquid as she would suddenly reach down in the water as if to grab something.  A few seconds later, she pulls a fish the length of her arm up out of the water.  It jerks in her hands as she carries it over to the clearing.  It was then she saw the group standing there.  It consisted of a couple of Bellamy's goons, Bellamy, Clarke, Finn, and a girl she hadn't seen before.  The fish slips through her grip at her surprise to see other people, and a few of the goons laugh and elbow each other when it does.

"Have you seen my radio?" The girl Skye doesn't recognize asks.  She was wearing a red jacket with a necklace dangling from her throat to her chest.  Skye points to the rock a few yards from where the group is.  The girl, Clarke, and Finn hurry over to it.  Bellamy takes his time, watching Skye make her way out of the water but not towards the radio.  He'd noticed she was wearing the shirt Murphy had gotten her, and he also noticed how it didn't quite cover her entirely.  Her hair was loose and in it's afro state the way it had been the night it first rained.  He couldn't help but think about how beautiful she looked with her hair not braided.

"Can you fix it?" Clarke asks the girl.

"Maybe.  But it'll take half a day just to dry out the components to see what's broken," the girl answers.
