It has been four days since Aisha arrived at Alfea, and we have been fearing for the worst. Everyone knows that she's my cousin, since I made such a big deal of helping her. The bedroom door slams open, as Stella stands there.
"Hey, Stella!" I greet. "What's wrong?" The said girl sighs heavily, before taking a deep breath and eyeing me carefully. I invite her to sit on my bed, as I feel extremely nervous about the entire situation.
"She's awake," Stella states, as I jump out of my bed and hurry towards the infirmary. Aisha is awake! Just as I enter the infirmary, Aisha is sitting up.
"Aisha!" I state excitedly. Aisha looks over at me, as relief washes over her face. After that, she looks at the ground sadly. "A-Aqua..." She sobs, as I meet her gaze. "I-I couldn't protect the pixies..."
I gasp in horror. As members of the Andros royal family, we always protected the pixies, since they were close to our home planet. "We need to save them," I say sternly, as she nods in agreement.
"Aqua..." She says, as tears stream down her cheeks. "I went to visit the pixies one day, but only Lockett was left." I stare at her in horror, wondering what could've happened.
"Lockett led me to a cave," Aisha explains, burying her face in her palms. "That's where I met an evil man who calls himself the Phoenix. H-He captured me and drained my powers..." She starts to tremble, as I sit down next to her and put my arm around her.
"It'll be okay," Flora says in a reassuring tone. Aisha nods lightly, anxiously biting her lips. "I'm sorry for making you relive that, but we need to know more," I say, as she lowers her head in defeat.
"I barely escaped from the prison he had for me, but I hardly had any magic left," she says. "I went to save the pixies but failed..." Her voice falters, as she starts to sob. Flora flings her arms around her, as Aisha shakes uncontrollably.
"Don't worry, we will help you," Bloom says in a determined tone. Aisha's face lights up, as she nods lightly. "Rest up a little bit, and you should be fine," Flora hums, placing a wash cloth on Aisha's head and letting her fall back to sleep.
"I will discuss these matters with Ms. Faragonda," Tecna states, before she leaves with Musa. I look over at Stella, as she yawns tiredly. "I am going back to my room," I say, as Bloom follows right behind me.
"Aqua, is everything alright?" She questions, as I stare at the ground and ponder on what to do. "You can—" I shake my head, staring at the ground before running into someone.
I look up, as Rena stands in front of me. She gasps, as her cheeks flush in embarrassment. "It's just you," she states, rolling her eyes in annoyance. She shoots a glare at me, before crossing her arms.
I roll my eyes. "If you were ever my friend, you would tell me what's wrong," I say bitterly. My eyes widen in surprise upon realizing what I just said and the full extent of my words.
Hurt flashes across her face, but she hides it almost instantly. "It doesn't matter," she says. "We can never be friends because of you." She storms off, as I sigh heavily and stare at the ground. Maybe, this is all my fault. I ditched her, but why is she trying to tell me off like this?
