The next day, I immediately realize that I'm in someone else's pajamas. Whose are these? I look at them, realizing how gorgeous they were. Who changed my outfit? A knock comes from my door, interrupting my train of thought. I slowly approach the door, as Rena stands there.
"Come on," she says nervously. "Put on some normal clothes." I nod lightly, hoping that there's some good news. I snap my fingers, as my normal outfit appears on me.
I look at Rena, as she nods. She smiles, before dragging me to the courtyard, where a man stands in front of a large group of students. "Hello, fairies of Alfea," he says. "I will be a new professor here. My name is Professor Avalon."
I eye him cautiously. Something seems off. I don't understand it, but why is he here? We have enough professors. "Rena, something isn't adding up," I say. "Should we act on it?"
She shakes her head no. "Not yet."
I nod lightly. She's right. We don't want to blow our cover. "I will watch him carefully," I note, as she nods lightly. "Wait, where are the rest of the winx?"
"They're over there," Rena states, pointing to a large group surrounding the new professor. I roll my eyes in annoyance, before leading the way over to them. "Bloom!" I call, as she glances at me. She looks at Rena for a moment, as I sigh heavily.
"Yes...?"
"Is it me or does the new professor feel... off?" I ask, as she shakes her head no. She returns to the professor, as I look longingly at Rena.
"Well, I feel like something is off," Tecna states, as my eyes light up. "He came out of nowhere. How can we trust him?" I nod in agreement. She's right, and that's what fears me the most.
"We will get to the bottom of it," Rena says. "Tecna, do some research on him. Aqua, spy on him using your magic orb. I will use my air magic to watch over him and make sure that he's not up to something." I nod lightly, hoping our plan wouldn't go wrong.
After the meet and greet session, Alfea holds a giant party. Of course I let Stella pick my outfit again. She always does a great job. I put on my usual dress, and Stella does my hair and makeup.
I nod in Stella's direction, being thankful for her. Rena walks towards us, wearing a black and white dress that barely covers her butt. With that, she wears gorgeous, black heels.
Stella stares at us, with a giant grin on her face. "I did a great job," she proclaims, looking at both of us. Rena blushes, being super nervous. I giggle, as she shoots a glare at me.
"Stella, do these heels really need to be this high?" Rena asks, struggling to remain standing. "I suck at walking in heels..." A gasp escapes her lips, as she plummets to the ground.
I use my magic to help Rena stand up. "You will be fine," I say, placing my hand on her shoulder. "You know, you could just transform into your new transformation, and that would be more than enough for the party."
She crosses her arms in annoyance. "Well, I do so much better in my transformation heels because they're actually comfy!" Rena retorts, as Stella furrows her eyebrows in concentration.
"Oooh, I know!" Stella declares, snapping her fingers. Sparkles surround Rena's shoes, as the sky fairy starts to relax. "Thank you so much, Stella!" Rena states, flashing her an enormous grin.
I smile. "You know, this is making me so happy," I admit, as Bloom nods in agreement. I look at Flora, as she grins at me.
"Girls, it looks like the party is starting!" Aisha states. I stare at her, knowing about her love for sports and dancing. "Yeah, I cannot wait to hear their playlist!" Musa cheers.
I chuckle to myself, as Flora nods. "Let's go," she says, leading the way. Out of the corners of my eyes, I notice Tecna's worried expression. "Tecna, are you okay?" I ask.
"Yeah..." She hums. "You girls go and have fun. I will stay here." She shows me her phone, as I stare at the results. Professor Avalon was a professor at another school, before he got an invitation from Ms. Faragonda.
"We already know that," I say in a serious tone, as she nods lightly. "Keep looking." Tecna exchanges a look with me, before continuing to type. I turn to stare at Stella, before leading the way to the party.
The party was a lot of fun. Bloom decides to hang out with the new professor, and I make sure to keep a good eye on him. Who knows? He could be keeping a giant secret from everyone. Bloom follows him to a room, leaving the door slightly cracked open. She desperately tries to get her results from the stone test, as I roll my eyes in annoyance.
"Aw, come on!" She begs. "Just a peek..." That's when two figures spying on them from outside captures my attention. Who are they? "Magic orb, teleport me to those two figures," I demand, as I appear outside.
The figures were sitting in the tree, as my eyes widen in surprise. It's Sky and Brandon. What are they doing here? "Sky, where's the beavers?" Brandon asks cautiously. I look at the nearby beavers, before chuckling to myself. If they knock that tree down, it would undoubtedly be funny.
"Hello, little guys," I say sweetly, before kneeling next to the beavers. "You want some privacy, don't you? Don't worry, I can help." I extend my hands, using a spell that Flora taught me. After a few seconds, a small vine house appears before me.
The beavers hurriedly go into the vine house, as a smirk curves around my lips. That will satisfy their demands. "What is Bloom doing?" Sky asks, as I wonder why they're here to begin with.
"Why don't you ask her?" I say in a dangerous tone. Both of them seem alarmed, as I hide in the shadows. They jump down from the trees, with their swords out. "Who are you?" Brandon demands.
"Why are you at Alfea?" Sky asks. I step out of the shadows, with an enormous smirk on my face. Their eyes widen in surprise, as a smirk forms on my lips.
"If you're going to spy on someone, don't be so obvious about it," I state, as they glare at me. "Use some magic object or something." As they study me, as a smirk forms on my lips.
"You actually scared us," Brandon admits. "Sky was terrified." I chuckle and roll my eyes, before putting my hands on my hips. Both of them were scared.
"I could've taken you," I say confidently. "Besides, Stella, Rena, and I are on different levels now." Brandon's eyes light up upon hearing Stella's name, as I know he would love Stella's new fairy form.
"We have to get going," Sky says, with disappointment lingering in his tone. "We will see what Bloom is doing another night." I stare at him, feeling bad for him. I cannot let the supposed perfect couple die out.
"No, Sky," I say sharply. "You and Brandon are staying for the party. You're already here anyways." His eyes widen in astonishment, as a smirk curves around my lips.
"I-I can't.."
"If not, you should try calling her," I state, as he glares at me. "Trust me, I'll make sure that she calls you. I promise." He nods, before they hurry off. I guess I'm playing matchmaker in this game called love.
