Winx: the Story Goes On

Chapter 5

It didn't long for the specialists to arrive. I was more than prepared to face off against the Phoenix. If he was able to capture my parents, then there was a chance he could do that to the rest of us.

We ride in a huge hovercraft, as I look over at my brother. We might be able to save our parents and return Andros back to normal. "Alex, our primary mission is to save our parents," I whisper, as he nods in agreement.

"Agreed," he mumbles. "We would stand the best chance against them if we rescued our parents." I roll my eyes in annoyance, knowing that he's been spending a lot of time with Rena lately. 

Once we arrive at the site, all of us get off of the ship. As I leave the hovercraft, I carefully examine the walls. It looks like they've been here since ancient times. "Aqua," Bloom states, as I look at her over my shoulder.

"This way," Aisha says, leading the way into the cave. I ponder on what to do, hoping for the best. If this leads us into danger, then we will need to stay together.

"According to Ms. Faragonda, this place drains our powers," I note, furrowing my eyebrows in concentration. "We should minimize how much we use our powers." Stella nods in agreement, as worry creases her forehead.

"If anything happens, we'll handle it," Brandon says arrogantly, nodding in Stella's direction. Stella looks at him in pure amazement. I exchange a look with Aisha, rolling my eyes in annoyance.

"You sure about that?" Aisha asks, with a smirk on her face. Brandon raises his eyebrows, seeming surprised by her attitude. I smirk, as she nods in my direction. "Let's keep going," I state, thinking back to Rena.

Aisha leads us through the cave, with a nervous expression on her face. "Ugh. I'm not getting enough light back here!" Stella groans, as I roll my eyes in annoyance and look at Sky. He holds the flashlight, clearly ticked at her.

"Hurry up, Stella!" He states. I sigh, wanting to go back for Stella. She shoots a glare at him, clenching her fists in rage. "I've had about enough of this!" She hollers. "I can do this myself! Stella, magic winx!"

My eyes widen, as I realize something drastic. This could draw the attention of some of the shadow creatures. "Stella, why are you so stupid?" I shout angrily. "You're going to grab the attention of the monsters!"

She shrieks in terror, as the sound of growling echoes through the cave. "Ahhh!!" She yelps. "I understand now, Aqua!" She slowly backs away from the creatures, as sweat pours down her forehead.

"Stella!" I call, staring at her with wide eyes. "Aqua, magic winx!" My form starts to change, as I transform.

"You transformed as well," Stella points out, as I roll my eyes and shoot her a glare. "Bloom, Aisha, please help us fight these creatures." Bloom nods in response, before looking at the specialists.

"Bloom, Magic winx!"

I look at Aisha, as she shifts nervously. "Okay, count me in," she states, as a small smile forms on her face. Stella and Bloom stare at her in shock, as I simply smile. "Aisha: transform!"

I glance around, as they start to use their powers to fend off the monsters. "Water of Andros!" I yell, sending a large beam at them and knocking them to the ground. "Deadly water!"

"Morphix orb!" Aisha calls, firing purple orbs at the creatures and making them disappear into thin air. "Flame of the great dragon!" Bloom yells, sending orbs at them. I smile in relief, knowing that our necklaces worked.

"Light beam!" Stella proclaims, firing sun energy orbs at them. In the end, we defeat them. "We did it!" Bloom cheers, as I meet Aisha's nervous gaze.

"Not yet," she warns. "There are more on their way." Aisha nods in our direction, ushering us past a door. I nod, as she locks the door and makes sure that the creatures wouldn't be able to pass.

I sigh. "We should get going."

Aisha nods. "Yes, and we have a long journey ahead of us," she states, glaring at Stella. "That's only the beginning." And just like that, she starts to lead us through the cave.
