Chapter 36

The next day, I lay on the beach, with a smile on my face. This vacation feels so good, and we really needed it. "Aqua!" A voice declares, making me jump in surprise. I open my eyes, realizing that I was the only one sunbathing. Rena approaches me, as I slowly get to my feet.

"Hey, what's up?" I ask, as she smiles. She takes my hand, before dragging me into the forest. We find the Winx, specialists, and pixies in waiter and waitress outfits, having bright smiles on their faces. "Follow me to your table," Rena states, before leading me to a large table.

At the table, Jax stands behind a chair and waits for me. He pulls out my seat, making sure I am seated. "All of this for me?" I ask, as he nods lightly. "That's so sweet." He nods, before meeting my gaze.

"Two of your special please," he requests, as they hurry away. He narrows his eyes at me, with a serious expression on his face. "Oh! That reminds me!" I state, remembering our conversation from earlier. "What did you want to talk about?"

His face softens. "Aqua, will you be my girlfriend?" Jax asks, as my eyes light up. I nod happily, as a bright smile forms on his face. I look into his yellow eyes, feeling a deep connection between both of us.

"What are we going to eat?" I ask, as he furrows his eyebrows. That's when Sky and Bloom bring out two trays, being extra careful with them. "We will leave you two alone," Bloom says, winking at me.

They hurry off, as I smile and look at Jax. I take a bite out of my food, before munching it down. I couldn't wait to tell everyone about us! We finish eating within a few minutes, as he stands up and approaches me.

He wraps his arms around me, as I bury my face into his chest. Jax gently strokes my hair, before pulling away and staring into my eyes. "Were you hoping for something more?" He teases, as my cheeks turn bright red.

All of a sudden, growling comes from behind us. My eyes flash dangerously, as he quickly pulls away and takes out a scythe. "I have been warned that there's a limited amount of magic here," he states, before knocking down some monsters.

"Aqua: Magic Winx: Charmix!" I say. A powerful feeling forms deep within me, as I transform.

"There are even more of them!" He states, sounding alarmed. I send orbs of them, knocking them down. A second later, more monsters take their place. "I'll try to send a warning out to the rest of them," I say, as he nods lightly. I take out my specter, before sending an orb into the sky. I sigh heavily, before releasing my transformation.
