“How it all started…”
*FLASHBACK*
Normal Point of View:
It was yet another beautiful summer day. There was peace heard in the atmosphere and the weather seems to be cooperating with the mood it has set.
Para sa ilan, ang araw na ito ay parang isang ordinaryon araw lamang. What they didn’t know that faith is working out its way to make this one special for three certain people.

Keith’s Point of View:
“Kuya? Kuya Luke?” Tawag ko sa kanya. Hindi niya ako pinansin. May suot suot kasi siyang earphones. Kaya naman agad akong lumapit sa kanya at tinanggal ang mga ito.
“Ano yun Keith?” My 12 year old brother turned to me with that usual smile of his.
“Kuya, I’m bored. Pwede mo ba akong dalhin kung saan? Gusto kong lumabas at maglaro.. Please?” I look at him with the best puppy eyes I could give. Alam ko namang hindi niya ako matatangihan.
Itinigil niya kung ano man yung ginagawa niya and lowered his gaze at my level. Those eyes. Isa sa mga bagay na gustong gusto ko sa kuya ko ay yung mga mata niyang yun. Hindi kasi nakakasawang tignan.
“Well, where do you want to go?” He asked. Natigilan ako saglit at nag-isip. Hmm.. saan ba pwede? Isip Keith! Isip.
“Hindi ko alam kuya... Oh! How about we go to the playground?!” sa sobrang excitement napatalon ako sa tuwa. Nakita ko siyang ngumiti. Siguro natutuwa sa mga nakikita. Hindi ko nalang siya pinansin at hinayaan nalang.
“Okay, okay, relax! Go ahead and change. I’ll just put these away and we’ll go.” He said and ruffled my hair. Agad ko siyang sinunod, baka mamaya magbago pa ang isip.
“Yay!” I shouted in glee and went up to my room to change. I’m so excited. Yay.
After kong magbihis, I quickly ran downstairs and saw there waiting for me. Nakasandal siya sa may pinto ng may ngiti sa labi.
“Are you ready?” tanong niya sa’kin.
“Yep!” Agad akong tumakbo papunta sa kanya at hinakan ang kamay niya.
“Let’s go and ask mom’s permission first, Okay?”
“Okay kuya!” We went to the kitchen and told mom na dadalhin ako ni kuya sa playground.
“Okay, honey. Just be sure to be back before it gets dark, Okay?” she said. Nakangiti niya kaming tinignan ni kuya. I’m so blessed. Dahil sa nagkaroon ako ng pamilyang gaya nito. Okay lang kahit wala ang daddy ko. Basta kasama ko ang kuya at si mom masaya na ako. Wala na akong hihilingin pa.
“Promise mom.” Kuya smiled.
“Have fun you two.”
“We will, mom. Bye. Love you.”
“Bye. Love you too.”
“Keith, tara?” he asked and held out his hand. Tumango lang ako and held onto his hand.
“Let’s go!” he said habang palabas kami ng bahay.
He lead the both us to the playground, habang mahigpit na hawak ang kamay ko, siguro takot siya sa pwedeng mangyari pag binitawan niya ang kamay ko. Over protective, kuya.
He turns his head from right to left, making sure na safe kami bago tumawid sa kalsada. Bago pa man kami makalapit sa playground, malayo palang naririnig na namin ang mga tawanan ng mga batang busy sa paglalaro. Lalo tuloy akong na-excite.
“You hear that, Keith? Seems like you’re going to meet new friends.” I lit up because of his statement and dragged him to where the laughs were coming from.
But, what I saw was completely different from what I’ve expected….
“Kuya, tignan mo yun!”
