Betrayer - Aris x Reader

This one shot is about Aris from The Maze Runner which of course I didn't own. I hope you'll enjoy this.

-What will happen now?- I asked Sonya and Harriet, my two best friends. We just managed to get out of the maze and we couldn't have any rest.

Anything seemed to had solved out but it didn't. Aris disappeared and another gilr named Teresa appeared. None of us knew where Aris was. Even thought I had known hom only since a few days I already felt like I had known for years and after all we lost our memories of what happened before the maze, so I really may had known him for years. It had to be.

But did it matter? We could have never seen him again.

-Let's go- Teresa said heading towards that strange thing that would have bring us to the "second test". I didn't like that girl, but we didn't have any other choice after all. I shared glances with Harriet and Sonya, the same thing was on their mind. Plus it was annoying that a new girl just arrived in our group and taking the controll of everuthing and everyone right away. It had always been Harriet and Sonya our leaders.

Aris and Rachel had been different, they appeared suddenly as well and Aris surprised us the most, but we felt we could trust them, we not everyone agreed with me.... The memory of Beth came up in my mind but I forced it to go away following Teresa.

-I hope Aris is alright- Was the only thing I could say to my friends while walking through a dark tunnel. There were some kind of monsters above us. A few girls already died because of them.

After hours we got to a door, we faced for a moment the outside, it was a desert, only desert, and it was too warm.

-Are we sure that we'll survive if we go outside?- Harriet asked, but she knrw that we had to.

-That's what they asked us to do, and we must do it- Teresa said, she was annoying once again -Just try to cover your skin as much as you can-

We walked for another pair of hours before arriving to a destroyed building, there we could rest for a while and finally Teresa explained her story. She told us about the other Maze, that she was the only girl while the other were all boys, the exact opposite of our Maze. She told us also that alongside with Aris, Rachel and anothet boy named Thomas she helped Wicked building these two Mazes. For a moment I thought I was going to trust her, at least a bit more, just a little. But it didn't took too much for her to make me change my minds.

-So, if you don't want me to kill you all, I suggest you do everything I say- She said the day after getting up, we thought that we were going to start walking again towards the place were Janson told us to go, but instead she walked alone to god knows where.

-She's starting bothering me- Harriet commented once she was sure Teresa was far away enough to not hear us.

-Only know?- Sonya asked sarcastically, I kepy staring at Teresa for a while. She did say us to do as she told us, but before walking away she didn't told us not to follow her.

And little did I know that I was going to suffer because of my choice.

-I'm seeking her, she's clearly hiding something from us and I want to know what it is- I said firmly, the others tried to stop me but failed if course.

I ran silently until I saw her, I was sure there was none else with her, and who could she be meeting?

She walked with me following her for about half an hour, and when she finally stopped I tried to see what she was staring at and my heart skipped a bit.

It was a group of boys, probably the ones from her Maze. One of them was leaving the group and while trying ti see who he was I stepped on a piece of wood making Teresa turn to see what it was. Luckily I managed to hide before she could see me. Now I could only see what she was saying, even if I thought she was going to say nothing and I was about to leave that place and head towards the girls, suddenly I heard she talk.
